This team is poorly coached and it has too many headcases, criminals and castoffs.
Palmer was touted as the second coming but he has a losing record as a starting qb. Bungals fans are the worst in the NFL! Enjoy the misery! |

How bad are the Bengals this year? In comparison, they make Browns fans feel better about what we've got. There are signs of hope in Cleveland, but in Cincy it just keeps getting worse.

Football is fun to watch because on any given play the unexpected can happen and often does. This puts predictability about any play, any game, any season on the chopping block. A team needs talent, but also needs luck---luck not to be riddled with injuries, luck not to get penalties at crucial times, a certain amount of luck on plays so that the best of players don't let a ball get away, a tackle escape, a run take the wrong turn, etc. All of this is exciting, but painful too, as a season can go south of too many factors line up to start a skid. Many of the loses could have been won BUT for.........Too many would have, could haves, should haves in football. Experts predict games correctly a little over 60% of the time. Every season the best preseason analysis ends up mostly in shreds as teams surprise either way. Of course changes have to be made based on performance, but players and fans should not go overboard with self flagellation. Hope for the best, be prepared for the worst is a good motto for football. Be thankful that our own jobs don't have all the uncertainties and variables that face a football team. If one realizes a season could go sour there is no need to assign imbecility or sudden lack of talent at every participant in sight. Let some time settle, go back tot he drawing board, and get ready for the circus again next year. It is, in the end, entertainment, of a roller-coaster variety.

When teams consistently under perform and fail there is no place to look except the leadership: Marvin & coaching staff, Carson, Dhani, and all players wearing the "C".
