I would be perfectly happy with the young line (from tackle to tackle) of Veldheer, Bergstorm, Wisniewski, Nix, & Watson. Young bunch of guys that can grow & mold together. The only way the young guys will get better is if they play together & the playing time will get them experienced & help them grow.

This is a good signing. Right now, they have a mix of power-blockers and guys brought in (Brisel) and drafted (Bergstrom) for the zone-blocking. This is good insurance.

yea T_RAIDER but this is one thing RAIDERS needed. just like the way and the reason they got roach, woodson , porter and kept k barnes and all these other veterans such as ford and mcfadden. it's nice to have last season's players that are now considered "veterans" too but we needed experienced players if they wanted to compete this season. now mckenzie could have done it your way but this RAIDER crowd can't wait that much longer for the RAIDERS to get back into the competition of things. mckenzie has to protect himself from criticism whether he admits it or not. he could have taken a chance and waited for all these guys to grow for the next few years like he said "unquote" but there was no way to escape the "now". mckenzie is having a hard time recovering the team he took apart. so i give him credit for putting this team together a.s.a.p at least. and yet keeping the guys that "can grow and mold together" as you like. as i've always said, the time is now. not tommorow or next season or the "future". he's doing ok. he can build from this season on.

I'd be okay with this had he come from any other team but Dallas...He's still a laughing stock in my neck of the woods

At the very least we have depth on the line now. This guy was good for a lot of years. Hope he can mentor a bit.

I'm okay with having him as a back up...I prefer Wisniewski to start at center but I'm sure which ever one doesn't start at center will be shifted to guard, but I'm not a fan of the back up center starting at another OL position because it enables him from warming up if needed to shift over and start snapping.
