<quoted text>They also need a field goal kicker...David Akers has got to go...plus I think that if they trade Alex Smith to the Jets, for linebackers, or better yet safeties, then San Francisco would have solved their back 8 defensive problem, and that will make San Francisco UNBEATABLE!

This means that when San Francisco's offence doesn't get out to a quick start, their defence won't be dropping points, because a receiver like Boldon is able to find holes in their defence. It means that the game will remain a close, virtually scoreless game, UNTIL Kaepernick is able to break through and revive his offence to take over the game!

Moss, the underachiever, has GOT TO GO! If you look at Ed Reed's interception, a pass that was intended for Randy Moss, you will see that Randy Moss didn't run that route at 100%(he ran it at like 85%), and then when Randy Moss figured that he couldn't get the ball (he SHOULD have been at least in the lane where that ball was thrown), Moss quit on the ball, allowing Reed an EASY interception. Randy Moss the best wide receiver in the NFL? NEGRO PLEASE!

As I said before, had any other receiver taken Randy Moss's position in that game for the 49ers, the 49ers would have WON the Super Bowl by 17 points...NO DOUBT!

See you on the podium next year, Kaep! Growing pains, kid...growing pains!
Before they could trade smith to the jet, jets would have to trade Sanchez because they would not keep to QB's with 10 mil contracts. If SF does trade smith to jets it should be for CB revis since he is on the trading block. If SF had the best lockdown corner on revis they would be soo much better

I was thinking about that also, though I didn't want to say too much about Derrelle Revis...the Jets may try to franchise him...I was trying NOT to jinx it.

I'm sure that the Jets would put Sanchez on waivers if they had to, if they could get Alex Smith...I am not sure how the waivers really work against a team's cap though, The_Solution...

I guess we know what San Francisco needs to pick up in the upcoming draft! Cornerbacks...linebackers...

San Francisco...Super Bowl champions in 2014!

Well Revis still has a year left on his contract so they won't need to franchise him untill the next year when he will be an unrestricted free agent. So in a sense the 49ers would be renting him for a season if they traded for him this off season

I'm not sure how much it would be, but if the Jets waived Sanchez they would take a multi million dollar cap hit towards the upcoming season.

Obtaining Revis is a questionable gamble, especially since we don't know how far back he can come....let the Jets find out first....why would anyone want Sanchez or Tebow? Tebow would likely put butts in the seats in Jax.....

Yeah it is a gamble. Ya never know how the ACl will heal up. I think the upside is worth the gamble though. Nobody will want tebow for sure. The Jags said they wouldn't even take him if he was released lol. There might be some dumb gm or coach who will think they can fix Sanchez. So Jets just might have to take the big cap hit

I figured that the Buffalo Bills were the dumbest organization in the NFL...then Cincinnati, then Philadelphia, then Dallas, then Jacksonville, then Kansas City, then Saint Louis, then Miami, then Detroit, then Oakland, THEN New York Jets...then San Diego, then Cleveland...

In another sport, a famous and illustrious champion had spoken to a player that would have played his position, had they been the same age, and he basically told that player that he will win a championship ring, and if he didn't, that he KNEW that that player is a champion, and he would give him one of his championship rings (probably MORE valuable than any championship ring that this guy could ever win on his own) if he couldn't get the job done. And guess what happened? That guy went out and WON a championship ring the upcoming season!

In the NFL, there are a few notorious Super Bowl heroes that originated from the 90's. The most famous person from the San Francisco 49ers that I see, that has the most Super Bowl rings, is JERRY RICE! I think that if Jerry Rice had a heart to heart talk with Colin Kaepernick, that Colin Kaepernick will put this Super Bowl loss behind him, work even harder during the off season, with the play calling, the defensive reads, and his backs and receivers, and he will come out the gate with a Super Bowl victory next year.

I truly believe that IF there is a team that can go 19-0, that THAT would be Colin Kaepernick's San Francisco 49ers! The Super Bowl game would STILL be close though, for most of it (San Francisco by 10...late touchdown seals it). Just keep Kaepernick healthy, and let's see what the next season will bring, The_Solution!

Bengals were in the playoffs...San Diego is extremely dumb and lazy....Jets should be much closer to the top...Jax does'nt have the fan base, that's why LA may be in their future.....

I was relly bummed, that Peyton and the Bronco's did'nt put up more of a fight, especially with two special teams TD's....Has the local press, asked if it was the cold and his neck? He seemed a bit off....

Bengals got lucky...but do they want to be the Dallas Cowboys of the AFC? Jacksonville is ESPECIALLY retarded...think that when Jimmy Smith left the team, and then they lost a star receiver in Matt Jones (probably to substance abuse problems), then Jack Del Rio, after holding on to Byron Leftwich for WAY TOO LONG, Jacksonville has to be considered one of the stupidest organizations in the NFL...Tebow going to Jacksonville can't be any worse of an experiment than what Jacksonville did to their organization already...the infamous organization that basically retired Dan Marino on his WORST playoff outing in his career (LOL @ Jacksonville crushing Marino and the Dolphins 62-7 that day...should have been 73-0, according to what I saw!).

You can't look on Peyton Manning first, where it comes to Denver's woes. Denver SHOULD have won that game, and they SHOULD have found themselves in the Super Bowl, though I do believe that IF Denver made it to that game, they would have lost, and maybe even worse than when they lost by 45 points the one time they lost the Super Bowl.

The FIRST person I would blame for Denver's loss is CHAMP BAILEY! Champ Bailey is now a CHUMP, and Torrey Smith totally made a mockery out of Cham..sorry, Chump Bailey all game! Chump Bailey SHOULD be the veteran leader in the secondary, and he failed MISERABLY! Had it been any other person in Chump Bailey's position, they could not have been as bad as him!

This play stretched out among the other defensive backs for Denver, as the tying touchdown, caught by a SHOCKED Jacoby Jones, who ran it in, after the free safety, of whom should have just DEFLECTED the ball, tried to make a heroic interception play on the ball, and wound up MISSING the ball COMPLETELY, by about half a foot, and then wound up falling on his butt to boot, basically solidified Denver's futility! Jim Leonhard (the bonehead), Rahim Moore (the free safety that got beat on the route by Jacoby Jones) and Cham..er, Chump Bailey are ALL people that have to be looked at as the FIRST people that are to blame for Denver's loss in that playoff game with Baltimore, with Chump Bailey taking the brunt of the responsibility for the loss, and retiring because he was the main reason that Denver lost that game.

I just want to make it clear, that I'm no crazy fan of the Denver Broncos, or of Peyton Manning, as I believe that Peyton Manning has to take some responsibility in this loss, however, Denver's back 4 are ATROCIOUS, and that is what LOST Denver the game. I would say that the bad calls/missed calls on the referees were more to blame for Denver's loss than Peyton Manning is, as I believe that I saw at least 2 pushoffs by Baltimore receivers that resulted in huge receptions, INCLUDING the offensive pass interference that Torrey Smith got away with on Chump Bailey, where it looked like Torrey Smith did some sort of 'Swan Lake' ballerina kick, while riding Chump Baiiey's back, on his way to a touchdown.

Seattle is LUCKY to have gotten past Washington...it was the ineptitude of Washington to continue to pile onto their lead that lost them that game. Hope that Robert Griffin III comes back with a vengeance when he can!

Seattle made little with their playoff success against Washington, when it came to them playing in Atlanta. There is NO WAY that Seattle could imagine coming back from a 21-0 deficit against the TOP team in the NFL...NO WAY!

Seattle made that game exciting, and they could have AND SHOULD HAVE won that game after their comeback, though Pete Carroll made some bad coaching decisions, which resulted in Atlanta sneaking out with a win. Seattle has SHUTDOWN corners and safeties, of whom are tall, physical AND young, and that is a good combination! Too bad they didn't show up in the first half...otherwise, they would have been playing San Francisco...though I don't think with Kaepernick in that game as starter, that they would have been able to BEAT San Francisco!

Seattle has a good team, yet Russell Wilson is going to have to step up his game a notch though! Marshawn Lynch is hungry, and Seattle has to learn to get in the game, stay in the game and pull out the victory in the end...same thing that San Francisco has to do. I don't really see many problems with Seattle defensively, though maybe their front 7 on defence may need a few minor tweaks. Seattle's offence is alright, though with a short quarterback in WIlson, and having to make throwing lanes for Wilson, or relying on Wilson's ability to scramble, and either find that lane for himself to throw down himself, or to run with the ball, Seattle may find themselves with some fundamental offensive struggles. This is what is probably keep them from winning a game in next year's playoffs! Seattle should look into running an offence that is even MORE reliant on the power running game, with Marshawn Lynch and the other running backs and full backs taking the brunt of their plays, much like when Shawn Alexander was their star running back...I don't know what else Seattle can do to diversify their offensive game...

True, the first win helped them get the 2nd seed and bye and the second win moved them forward in the playoffs, but if you are going to get to the Super Bowl on the NFC side you will have to go through the Packers at some point... just like the NYG had to last year. But the Bears only got beat ONCE by the 9ers (twice by the Packers) because they couldn't make the playoffs for the 2ND straight year, hell they could even finish 2nd in the NFC North for the 2nd straight year... no wonder their team will have all new coaches!
All bs a side -- Enjoy the Super Bowl LBF, are you pulling for anyone or just watching? I think I will just be watching but maybe pulling a bit for the Ravens because I donít like Moss and I donít want him to be a ChampionÖ he is the biggest DBag in the history of the NFL imo.
I would not brag about the playoffs if I was a packer fan . The packers have gotten embarrassed by getting blown out in the post season the last few years. Don't get me wrong it's fun to watch, and the highlights on the NFL channel of the packers getting blown out is very entertaining!!! Hey how is that cheerleader doing?

The Packers need to get rid of Charles Woodson...that would be a starting point in retooling their back 4! Better corners and safeties, led by a COMPETENT safety, needs to lead Green Bay to better heights, Packluv1!
