Now, now everyone. Y'all cheered him when he whore the uniform. Do hate on him now. We all make mistakes. At least he tried. That one armed tackle he made against the Rams(rock bottom) in the middle of the field got attention. You never know what goes on behind closed doors. Especially with the Raider Organization whom fired coaches for winning! Tom Cable, Hue Jackson an traded Gruden. It's hard to. Blame the players at this point. But Russell, I agree, his work ethic sucked.

I don't hate the guy. Just think he has problems and needs help.. something bigger going on, maybe drugs, maybe bipolar..whatever it is, it's unfortunate. But to say he tried? I can't say that because I wasn't at practices. Nor on the field with him. That's hard to say. He does have some talent. He just needs to figure out whatever personal stuff he has going on. I hope he gets straight. But also glad he isn't on our roster while doing so.

All im saying is this. I worked 20-40 hours a week, and went to the gym 6 days a week for HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL. My story isnt unique or all that crazy either. When you are paid millions of dollars and don't seem to care, i have 0 sympathy. I simply don't care about people who were given so much more, and don't seem to care about it.

I liked him as a player, but it seemed to me that his hometown tried to make him look bad. The outcome of his legals troubles always had him coming up clear so I think some of it was things he couldn't really do anything about. He's entitled to live life just like the rest of us but when you're a celebrity, it's hard to stay out of the media period no matter what you're doing.

I just hope he doesn't end up getting himself killed like Darrell Russell who had a similar story.

I agree, I'm glad he's not on our team trying to figure it out. We need players ready to play and understand what it takes to win!!!

Really bothers me that he gave up football all together. I guess the pressure of being famous was too much for him. Mostly in his hometown I guess
