The $hame from Vick, is that he was here for seven years.animal people heard for years,he was fighting dogs.arthur blank and the NFL, looked the other way.the stink of Vick lives on.call it karma.
Look at where phila is today! I truly believe you consort with the devil, you do get burned.watching screaming fans welcome Vick back, when playing as a eagle; made me ill. Racism? of course! In their eyes.just some dead dogs tortured, and some racketeering.big deal, right?
Matt Ryan its the antithesis of Vick.maybe,he can't run as fast,or scramble as easily.
but he isnt a quitter,or an excuse maker
It is also refreshing to have a qb who can speak without an interpreter!
That air tran/vickcommercial is still burned in my brain!
Not sure if we have finished paying for contracting a evil, immoral excuse for a human.
Hopefully the hex of the dogkilling, coachkiller, team demolition is over.we shall see.
Go falcons!

154 combined seasons with 4 major sports and Atlanta has one championship to show for it. If there's a hex, it came way before Vick and extends way beyond football.

Same for the eagles. They haven't won a super bowl ever. They haven't won a championship in over 50 years and have 1 title in the last 60 years. Somehow Vick has held the franchise down the last few years that he was there. Vick haters aren't very bright and lack perspective and objectivity.

Really?? Who the hell wants a illiterate, savage representing their town?? If you do
Vick is available.let him bring the shame and disgrace that comes with his overrated talent.
Guess you didnt know,Atlanta had the pleasure of ookie for seven seasons.one out of seven over 500.
He is stupid as a rock, unable to lead anything except maybe a drive by.
Reid the walrus was a decent coach, till he hooked up with the felon.once again
All the $$$ in the NFL cannot .
buy an iota of class.

If Atlanta never won aother game, they are way ahead than when that pos was here.he is toxic poison, and you are immoral fools,if you can't see that.

The eagles are beyond lousy; they are in the same sewer that ur qb lives in.it will take 10 years to clean up the sludge,Vick had left behind.

Actually, they had 2 winning seasons in Vick's 7 and only 3 in the 20 years prior. That's almost twice the winning % under Vick. Plus, they've never won a Super Bowl with, or without him and it's not going to happen this year under Ryan either. That doesn't really matter though, since Vick has nothing to do with the overall "Atlanta Sports Hex". My question is, what hex caused the other 3 teams + the Falcons to only win one title in 154 combined years ? The Braves won that championship in 95 and then never won another, despite winning 10 consecutive NL East titles. That sounds more like a curse than anything. Of course, this is all contingent upon believing in such nonsense. Best to believe in what you can hold in your hand. Stats don't lie. Curses, jinxes, karma all = coincidence. No hard proof to the contrary.

I actually hope the Eageles are f..kk'n stupid enough to keep the dog killing POS. They deserve "it". It will only mean another 15 mill down the toilet and the frail little felon will play maybe 4-6 games at the max before he hits his little head, bites his tongue, breaks a finger nail or comes up with some punkass reason to take himself out of the game. Then, as usual, you will see the POS bending over, grimacing and making his little bitch faces that he does so well and limping off to the sideline.

And I'm sure the other Eagles won't mind having the dog killer back. He is so good at telling them how slack they are and what they should be doing and how magnificent he is.

Once again the felon will have filthadelphia "dreaming of a team", all the while going down the toilet and "dyin'-nasty".

Players do not take themselves out of games. That decision is solely that of the medical staff. They would be benched immediately if the staff thought they were fit to play and chose to sit and it would probably be an eventual career killing move. Vick got a bad rap on more than one occasion because of poor medical staff decisions.
I'm also not sure where you get 4-6 games, unless it's just your opinion. He's played more games than that every year but 1 and that was 10 years ago.
His career actually has just as good a chance of turning around as it does falling further under the new head coach. He's very offensive minded and Vick (before Reid tried to make him a pocket passer) fits into his scheme very well. If Reid would have focused all his attention on teaching Vick to slide (something simple) rather than trying to teach the non-thinking quarterback an entire new game plan , things may have been very different. He's never going to be good at reading defenses, but if you let him play his game, he'll get yards if no one is open. Better than trying to make him throw over a line that is around 5" taller than him anyway.
As far as Vick blaming others, he's not the only one. There were a lot of problems on that team the last 2 years, from an underachieving secondary, to an entire offensive line on injured reserve, to Reid not using his outstanding running back often enough. A quarterback should never publicly call out his teammates, but that's just the wrong approach. It doesn't mean he's not spot on with what he's saying.

Yes, they do. The felon is a prime example. Simply acting like a little bitch bending over and grimacing and holding your hand will do it every time. The little limping act he puts on doesn't hurt either. Believe me, I actually wish the sick bastard was hurt. There isn't anyone playing in the NFL that deserves to be injured more.

The felon is nothing more than a Monday more highlight in which he scrambles for 50-80 yards, eluding defensive players, but in the final analysis, losing the game. He's slower now, even more ignorant than ever because he doesn't have an offense built aroung "his" running abilities, and very bitter and disenchanted because his warped ass was locked away for two years. Quite the contrary, a franchise QB telling other team members that they aren't putting out 100% is not only the right thing to do but it shows true leadership. How many times have you seen the Mannings, Brady, and Brees on the sideline letting other players know in no uncertain terms that they aren't performing or executing? Do you think the times that you have seen them on the sidelines yelling in other player's faces that they are just happy to see them?

As far as "publicly" calling them out.....you're right, no quarterback should ever do that. That's why vick did it, he's no quarterback.

There's a difference between seeking medical attention and "taking yourself out of a game". Players are required to get medical attention and have the staff determine if it's anything serious. Then the staff makes the decision to take a player out. No one else from the player himself to the head coach makes that call. Vick never took himself out of a "game".

I don't have to be part of the medical staff. I just read the sports page. He got a bad rap for a hand that wasn't broken. The staff made that call, not Vick.

Yes, 2012 rings a bell. He played in 10 games. What you said makes no sense there.

The possible resurrection of his career is not my opinion. I never said he would, I said he could. That's based on facts, not opinion. The old Vick game plan is a virtual twin of what Kelly will run. The game plan that got Vick a 100 million dollar contract.

Vick was not the first to put the blame on other. Perhaps if you mean the first Eagle to put the blame on others, you may be right. If you lived in an area that covers the team, you may see more of the stories regarding all the weaknesses that team had. You can't dispute the things I referenced. They're easily researched.

Regarding your 2nd last paragraph , I thought you were referring to the comments he made to the media when you said he "blamed others". What did you mean ?

If you want to hate Vick, that's your prerogative. If you want to talk about football, you need to get some facts straight first. A little research is a wonderful thing. Start with his not broken hand and then look up the different effects of different ribs being broken. As far as the concussions go, you don't need to explain that to me. I agree 100% that it's the trainers and medical staff that make those calls. Vick never has.
Getting back to the Atlanta "curse", I'm sure you know by now that I was right about them not getting back to the Super Bowl this year. Lost leads were bound to catch up with them eventually. I just don't see Ryan ever getting to the big game.

You can say it as often as you like, but it doesn't make it true. Taking himself out for medical attention and taking himself "out of the game" are 2 different things. I've already addressed the difference .
