I'm glad to hear that Oakland had some options on the O-line. Excited that they will be running like they did 2 years ago before trying the zone blocking last year. The offense wasn't broken and didn't need to be changed, it's the defense that has been the problem. Expecting big things from the run game this year. Pass protection wasn't that bad last year either considering the run was not a threat. With some promise from 3rd and 2nd year receivers, not to mention a few rookies that are showing some talent, I expect to hear Greg Papa yelling "Touchdown Raiders!" more often.
FYI - I might root for Chicago to beat Denver, KC, or San Diego but on my worst day I will never be a Bears fan.

The pass protection was good? Are you crazy? The opposing defenses were purposely not rushing so Palmer would throw the ball. Better chance for an interception. Just think, if you were a Bears fan your team would have been in a superbowl in the not too distant past and ACTUALLY would have been in the game instead of letting Tampa Bay run all over them.

Whats that? Tampa just scored again!!!!!

I can see a situational type of scenario where "teams don't rush the QB" but that would never happen over a season. Truth is we had decent pass protection last year. It didn't matter too much as the same line couldn't move a man on a double team when run blocking but it is what happened.

Also, as a question, why do you try trolling the Raiders forum so often?

You sound like a guy who likes to have fun laughing bear, and I don't hate the bears just not a fan of them. Do you really believe that pro player don't rush on purpose? Have lost your mind. Maybe you lost it during the last two beat downs Oakland gave the Cubbies, when admittedly they weren't very good. What does that say about the Teddy Bears? Sure we took a beat down IN A SUPERBOW, but at least we were there more recently than your fuzzy friends. Plus Oakland has the edge in wins over the bears since 1972 to the current date. 7 wins and 6 losses. I hope your boys don't go into hibernation this season, good luck and respond if you not a hater and just like to have fun.

Is Jay Cutler your QB again? You realize he threw 5 yards short of 1000 less than Palmer did, had 3 less TD's and equal amount of INT's and was sacked 38 times???? Your best com back is Tampa scores?? Hahaha I bet your still doing the SB shuffle too??? Did I mention Oakland won the last meeting against the cuddly bears? Quit living in the past and pay attention to what your team is doing now friend.
