Let's hope Palmer can minimize turn overs...do that and if the d plays well, there is no reason we aren't playoff bound. But those are big question marks only time will answer.

he has to minimise, is right. protection is always good. and i believe that, that is going to go well. he should do well as far as making good plays. im telling you, palmer needs to be the starter to start with. any little mistake he makes does not mean he has to be benched for leinart. gotta give palmer all the benefit of the doubt through out most of the season, regardless of little or critical mistakes. BUT? he does have to play good for the MOST part.

I think Palmer is our best option...turnovers or not...that said if he is failing miserably then the bench needs warming. Otherwise we roll with Palmer.

I'm not really sold on any of our QBs right now, but I hope that the coaches make the right choice for who the starter is.

Right now I feel about Palmer the way I initially did about Rich Gannon. However, Gannon gave me reason to believe. Palmer, on the other hand, still reminds me of Kerry Collins.

Carson Palmer did nothing in Cincy so why would he do anything in Oakland? They aren't beating Denver because of Petyon. They will be forever medicore until they get a better quarterback. I'm not hating, that's just what I think.

I think Peyton is past his prime and Norv Turner's true colors are starting to show in San Diego, but Phillip Rivers likes him. You never really know about KC, so I think it's anybody's game

Petyons not past his prime, Kansas city sucks and San Diego (like Dallas and the NY Jets) are the biggest underachievers ever. It's Denver's divisions to lose. Petyon>Rivers>Plamer> >>>>>>> >>>>Matt Cassel

i want to see our 4th (qb) caballero? in action. they almost put him in when leinart injured his hand and pryor took over. but they did not use him after all. but i'd like to see how skilled he may be. hopefully in these last two games we get to see his skills. wouldn't it be a shocker if did better than all three?(LOL).

How far the Raiders have fallen since Al died.
HE WOULD NEVER SIGN ANYBODY NAMED CABALLERO!
That means gentleman in Spanish
Al would have signed people named Cabron, James Jones, Chemical Ali
People with a much more ruthless last name

(LOL), very true lbf, but these are the "new era RAIDERS". time will tell. at least the bears are still stuck in the past. good or bad? maybe once urlacher, cuntler and lovie smith leave, things will change. your team is not doing too bad, they're just not getting nowhere. i mean, i shouldn't talk but we did beat your team last season! and thats going to leave a mark until you play the RAIDERS again. sorry you have to wait so long and not be able to get it out of your system.

I think he would have stayed away from Palmer...for what Cincy wanted in the deal....

you know al davis was a spending kind of guy. he'd put out big money and send limo's for his girlfriends he thought he was going to marry! so you know he would have taken her off that couch and dressed her up. he just ran out of time! but word is that they say, al would have done it!

I can name off a lot of things that wouldn't have happened if Al Davis was still alive...Stanford Routt would still be with us and overpaid; We'd still have Kevin Boss, Kamerion Wimbley, and possibley Chris Johnson. I can't see Al Davis making the Carson Palmer trade, but I can see him re-signing Jason Campbell and then Terrell Pryor being the #2...Not that I agree with any of these...

He's a great player and I hated to lose him, but he was costing way too much

Perfect logic TR
Get rid of somebody who is expensive and productive
replace him with
3 cheap players who have zero productivity
