I think the biggest problem with our pass rush was the loss of DL coach Mike Wauffle because the previous two years that he was with us were the most productive from the DL as a whole since his last tenure with us. For a few years we had just Derrick Burgess and Warren Sapp had one good year with us, but in the 8-8 seasons, we had a solid pass rush all across the DL, not just from one or two players

We do need that guy that will make a difference on the defense as a whole no matter what position he plays.

The more i look at DaMontre moore, the more i like the guy. He looks like a pass rusher sure, but has a better frame than Jarvis Jones, he just looks like another Aaron Maybin or Vernon Gholston.

Is jarvis jones the guy with a neck condition? I didn't recall seeing him in Tex's mock draft but I hear a lot of talk on him and I've seen him on several boards

Jones does have the neck condition, and that's why I anticipate he'll fall to a later round. I really enjoyed watching Moore in college and would love to have him in a Raider uniform. I really think he can be the difference maker we need on defense.

How about Werner??.. Hes a beast as well. I just hope they make the right decision!!. I still would trade down are pick to around 8-15 to get a 2nd round pick and use it for a CB OR someone to replace Giordano!!.. I think that would be smart! Whar do u guys think??....

very few (cb,s) that are notable top picks in the draft. but it doesn't mean that we can't pick someone out of that draft later and make him a good or a great player. the nfl combine will be nice to check out for closer ability to find a "hopefull"! i'd like it we get to add a veteran free agent (cb). i'm not against trading down for more picks. i just personally still want to go ahead and go with our first round #3 pick in the draft. a pass rusher that apposing teams fear!
