this would probably be the worst move the steelers will ever make if they get brooks! Aaron brooks just sucks! there's gotta be someone better than him available? they would be better off going to a high school team and picking the backup than signing brooks!

Aaron Brooks = Kordell Stewart

Steeltown had several years with Kordell at the helm. He was terrible, but they were apparently comfortable with that for a while.

Aaron Brooks is pretty bad, I would rather go with a young guy with some upside, than to waste any time with him. He has talent, but obviously doesn't know how to harness it.

Why are you all worried about it.

A. They do not need a starting QB so he wouldn't see a snap.

B. Charlie Batch is entrenched as #2

C. They rarely keep 3 QB's on the active roster.

D. Having him in for a workout is a far cry from signing him to a deal.

You guys need to wake up and smell the coffee. Brooks is talented athlete with an absolutely horrible attitude and no guts. He is a cancer. You need to hope somebody in your division ends up with him, so the steelers will beat the crap out of them twice. He is worse than mediocre, he is an absolute cancer! Stay away! I watched him piss away dozens of games! The sad thing is that with an attitude adjustment, he could have been a great in the league. Unfortunately, Haslett was permissive as a coach, and he got worse as the years went by. That is why so many people say he isn't that bad. It is true that he has talent, but laziness and stupidity don't get you to the superbowl, no matter how good your arm is. Stay Away!!!!!!!!!1
