Shame on You, Dan Synder! This is just another act of him draining the pockets of Redskins fans. FREE SHUTTLE for paying customers - we walk a mile from Metro and he helicopters in. We see how our owner feels about his fans.

That is a long mile after a late-ending, evening game in the winter.

Ahhhhh,
Here again, government at its...best. About 12 years ago, the federal government enacted a bill, 49 CFR part 604, which stated that funded transportation agencies CAN NOT provide any charter bus services IF AND ONLY IF a private company could do the same. As a result, low cost yet readily available bus service that could support the needs of thousands has now gone quiet...for example, MetroBus charter buses are no more. This is exactly the same situation, and unfortunately, it's at the detriment of the very citizens who need cheap transportation to attend Redskin games ( since they can barely afford the MORTGAGE on Redskins tickets and food anyway). So now, a private company will provide bus service from Landover Mall to the FEDEX Stadium, the undecorated i-beam and aluminum container that preserves the Redskins and more importantly, Dan "diss the fan" Snyder. So, now, instead of public transit supporting travel at low cost to Redskin games, a private company will charge over #20 per person instead of the previous $6 per person. Sing with me to the tune of "Hail to the Redskins":

HAIL TO THE REDSKINS,
SHAME! CONGRESS IS TO BLAME
BECAUSE OF "NO BUS" LEGISLATION,
MANY CAN'T AFFORD TO SEE A GAME!!!

My next door neighbor told me she would crawl over one mile of sharp carpet nails on her hands and knees just to hear Dan Snyder fart over a short wave radio.

Redskins have a lot of season ticket holders who catch that bus and are old. The cannot walk a mile someone will die doing that and it will be on there heads. They can find a company and keep the bus ride down for the fans. This is a ploy to get us to pay more bye bye to my tickets. I'm selling and not renewing ever.

Very smart to put that many drunk people on the mile long walk to the stadium. This is gonna be trouble.

There aren't just senior citizens who support the Redskins at the games. My nephew and I consider ourselves to be in fairly good shape but that walk easily takes its toll. On the walk to the stadium, there were plenty county police officers directing traffic. But after the game, not one in sight. In addition to the health issues, there are plenty of accidents waiting to happen. When you're driven in by limo, flown in by helicopter, or have special parking privileges, I guess it's no big deal.

Maybe the Redskins should have accepted the offer of service for the first three games in order to get additional time to work out a solution.

What private companies have come forward wanting to offer the service?
