Dear Denise I went to the site and signed the petition.
That is horrifying what happened to that poor dog.
Pray for it to happen to sick Vick.

I don't think he should playball ever again.
What he engaged in was sick and disgusting and part of the gangsta lifestyle.
These people raise dogs for dog fighting and dog baiting.
Every dog they raise must be a killer because if it doesn't perform that dog is later killed.
This breed of dog was used to round up and control cattle and drag them to the ground and kill them.
The majority of dogs are good but the pitbull is getting the bad rap because the wrong people are owning them.

Are you serious? He was charged with several felonies. Vick financed the entire operation, directly participated in dog fights and executions, and handled who knows how much money involved in gambling. The involvement in gambling alone is enough to keep him banned from the NFL. You try to compare the slaughtering of animals by Vick to animal shelters having to put to sleep stray dogs because of overcrowding?? Don't be ridiculous. The nature at which Vick killed these animals shows his total disregard for life in general. Hanging, shooting, and drowning dogs for performing poorly in fights or just for shi*s and giggles isn't comparable to euthanization by vets. He probably wouldn't hesitate to take a human's life if they crossed him. Let's not forget that Vick had several issues before any of this transpired. Who really would want a QB that flags off their home crowd???? Goodell has all the reasons in the world to keep this guy from playing again in the NFL and very few to allow him to return.

2. Personal conduct policy
Over the past few years, Goodell has tackled aggressively the issue of player misbehavior away from the field. But the penalization of players remains inconsistent.
At some point, the league needs a more predictable formula, so that players will be on unequivocal notice of the connection between the things they do, and the things that the league will then do to them.
The substance abuse policy and the policy regarding steroids and other performance-enhancing substances contains an obvious formula of fines and suspensions; to be as effective as possible, the personal conduct policy needs the same kind of clarity.
Apart from the broader challenges of removing any ambiguity from the process, Goodell soon will face the challenge of determining the status of Falcons quarterback Michael Vick, once he is released from prison in July. Plenty of people think Vick will be able to walk from razor-wire fence to football field.
But if Goodell means what he says when he says that playing in the NFL is a privilege and not a right, Vick should be told to sit right over there in a corner for at least a couple of years, if not permanently.
