I am not so keen on the WCat, I would rather see them do the flee-flicker 4 times a game. 3 TD's for sure if they do it with AD. When AD gets the ball then then cuts back, everyone on the D is going to be thinking oh no he's found a lane, pitch back to BF and TD bound.

I would also like them to blow out Detroit and Seattle at halftime so they can give BF a rest in the 2nd half and AD and Jarad and CT a rest in the 4th.

Sure the Vikes should give some more snaps to Reynaud. Is he back off of his injury yet? Skol Vikings.

Fix the defensive backfield. Waaay too many big play completions down field....If this can be fixed the Vikings will be unbeatable. Go Vikes!

Bye week came at the right time... fate? I don't think so. We've positioned ourselves for a strong run at the title game. If our D doesn't blow those second half leads... well, knock on wood.

I think that the "wild cat" is pretty much a gimmick in the NFL. It's more of a college thing, anyway. MN doesn't really have to use that with BF as the QB. They have the tools for it, no doubt, but why do they really need it outside of a "gimmick" play, to be used maybe once every few games? Speaking of tools: What's with the rope sucker posting on here?

I always find it amazing how people who sit behind a desk everyday, and probably have never played 1 game of football in thier life,(except when he tried out for the 7th grade team, and didn't make the list, because he got ran over), can sit there are make what they think is a Perfect Plan for a winning season.
Do you want to read articles/reports/opinions that are written by PLAYERS? Given their language skills (evidenced by interviews, etc.), I can't imagine anything less readable.

Team is doing just enough to win. I hope Chilly, Bevell and Frazier found a killer instinct over the bye week. Wildcat is not for us, agree with all the posters that ask for a few more trick plays. You can't tell me with AD that a fake reverse then a reverse would not work for big gains. Need to get AD out on the edge, the 2 yard up the middle run just isn't that good. Defense needs to stay on the gas pedal in 2nd half, too many yards given up when the blitz is called off. This might be our only year to have a legit chance so please Chilly don't blow it! Unless T-Jack got a brain implant he will not be the answer when BF is gone. Go Vikes!

Just a guess, but probably nursing a serious hangover and trying to get rid of that ugly fat chick they picked up after the game.

Problem for most of them is, that ugly fat chick is also their sister or first cousin.

Must make for some awkward holiday gatherings in Green Bay...

Here we go....Super Bowl talk. These are the Vikings we're talking about...the kings of the 1st round playoff loss and yet another disappointment to fans. They proved in their loss to the Steelers that they can't stand up to a real first class team. This team has everything it needs to go all the way, but something's missing. I don't know what it is but the late-game collapses tell the tale. I suspect it's coaching, but whatever it is, the erratic play tells me not to plan for a 2010 Super Bowl party.

The safeties are broke: Fix them. Every championship caliber team has top safeties. No brainer, here. Our corners could use just a little help. Safeties first;-)
Where are we going to get these Safeties. Oh I know lets give the Aints our first round pick for Sharper back.. This the only way to upgrade our safeties.

The Saints are a HUGELY overblown team with an absurdly soft schedule. Pukers are done: Offensive line injuries and depth problems don't resolve themselves during a given season. Gay Bay fans, look to next season and wish for a different, more *masculine* quarterback. Karen is a flop (yeah, I know, he led the league in ratings. My ratings are different - wins and losses. He is mentally OUT of the game. The Vikings game went a long way to knock his mind off and he won't recover any time soon). The Bears are garbage (they are who we thought they were).

No, actually, you don't *KNOW*. You sign Chris McCallister as a corner and move Asher Allen over to play safety. Having said that, pal, my post wasn't designed to supply ANSWERS to the problem (I'll leave that to you and the expert coaching staff which had all offseason to address the problem, OK pal?;-)
