Full story: Akron Beacon Journal

When Joe Fugo went to meet his new neighbors, the Pittsburgh Steelers fan naturally asked their football allegiance.

So because someone rents THEY have to move?? renters have rights!

this is nuts....and i can't believe they got a protection order...i tried to get one against one of my neighbors who cannot stay off my property and thinks it's funny to try to run over children (with HER children in her truck) and i was told that i could not get a protection order because our houses weren't that far apart....

i hope this guy prevails over these 'christian' people....they don't seem very 'christian' to me....they should go to mediation thru the Akron Community Police section....

All Steeler fans should be forced by court order to leave Akron immediately; walking, with nothing but the shirts on their backs. call it the Crennel Super Bowl March.

i will add this to my prior comment, though i still maintain the man has rights and i do not think his neighbors are being very 'christian', check out his court records! go to the summit county website, court records, and do the multi-jurisdiction search.....

i am actually surprised the ABJ didn't list or mention his lengthy court records, as they usually mention people court's records even when they are not relevant.....

What a sad situation. If I were Joe Fugo, I wouldn't go. The judge's order is unreasonable when houses are as close as they are. The no contact order makes more sense and could include a no loud music clause as measured by a sound meter at a certain reasonable point. I'm glad to see he has a lawyer now.

The Budich's are not the kind of neighbors anyone would want. Please don't move into my neighborhood in Tallmadge. They moved into their new neighborhood, then try to take over. They are flat out wrong. Joe has lived in his house for 17 years. Let me know when the protest march on the Budich's house is. They need to leave.

Joe as a mentally damaged Vietnam Vet & STEELERS fan deserves respect. I hope he gets it.

The Joe needs to get a grip.Cheree some thicker skin. The judge should order mental evaluations for all. None of them seem of sound mind. Living on disability leaves a lot of time on ones' hands. They need to get new hobbies other than driving each other nuts.

I was going to side with Fugo too until I saw that he likes to torture little puppies. Personally, I wouldn't want either party as a neighbor.

His post-traumatic stress disorder led to him being a Steeler's fan. If he didn't have PTSD he would be a Brown's fan.

Fine Fugo for the tree. Fix the order so nobody has to move. Fine anyone who doesn't obey the law including noise laws.

Personally, I want to know what this "Christian values" compost is about. It's high time that the citizens of Akron have a few of these BIGOTTED, holier than thou, Bible thumpers impaled for public display. Fugo has served my country. Bead rattling shaman haven't done doodley from my point of view.

No, not entirely true. They've stalked children and intimidated them with creationist lies. Maybe football fans are a lower life form but I can't think of anything else that qualifies.

Ms. Budich says that she is a christian, but said that she felt no pity for Mr. Fugo. It appears to me that she felled the test of christianity. If what she says about Mr.Fugo's action are true then there is definitely some sort of mental illness ormaybe we just have two petty families here.

Actually, you are missing the entire issue here. Renters DO have rights -- and one of them is NOT violating laws, which Fugo is clearly doing on numerous occasions.

I can comfortably say this after reading your posting -- YOU ARE AN IDIOT!

Just because "he was there first" does not mean crap. Do ANY OF YOU bother to actually read and comprehend these articles? Do I need to spell out the LEGAL issues involved here?

You, like the others I have responded to, are idiots. Another moron who did not READ AND COMPREHEND the legal issues here.
