For me, Lechler, Janikowski and Condo for sure are cornerstones. The other two are Stefan Wisniewski and Jared Veldheer are good cornerstones for the OL and can be built around.

5 new players that were brought in (either by draft or FA) that shined were Phillip Wheeler, Rod Streater, Miles Burris, Joselio Hanson, and Phillip Adams.
Streater was a nice surprise for an undrafted rookie WR. Wheeler was a good FA pickup and Burris was a nice late round draft surprise. Hanson and Adams have come on well here late in the season, but Adams don't cut it as a punt returner.

Age seems to be catching up to Cooper Carlisle, Carson Palmer, Richard Seymour, and Tommy Kelly plus Darren McFadden can't seem to stay healthy.

Good news is that Allen has his eyes on Manti Te'o to complete our LB corps and surely we can get some more OL to fill our holes there and some DL to groom as this draft class is full of good OL & DL.

I think Steater is okay, but a little overated by the fans. DHB is still solid and can do more things on the field. Moore was definetly better in Jackson's scheme. Like McFadden, Moore would benefit for a return of Saunders and Knapp leaving.

As far as age, Seymour is the one who has missed a lot of games. Recent posts, put Kelly in the doghouse and old. To me, Kelly is a player that is productive and playing at a high level. The O-line has not done well with the run and that is more scheme than anything else. No complaints with resigning Carlisle this season, as he has done a solid job

I've been a strong supporter of Tommy Kelly and his age is starting to show a little bit. When I was a kid, I hated to see Chester McClockton go, but once he arrived in KC and was pretty much in pieces, I learned that guys won't be the same forever and it was clear that even though he played a few more years after that, his best days were behind him. Darrell Russell was a good heir to McGlockton's throne until he started getting into trouble and until Kelly came along, I never thought we'd see that productive plug in the middle of the DL until Kelly came along and I think having Richard Seymour by his side the last few years has helped him alot.
