Shayne Skov LB - Stanford.
Chase Thomas LB - Stanford.

Smart, instinctive guys who play hard for their team. I mean cmon, its stanford! These kids dont get in trouble or give up. That's what allen is trying to emulate.

We actually need two LB's one starter one upgraded back up. This is why we are a couple seasons from a solid playoff run. Injuries are going to hapoen, we need viable back ups that are hungry to a spot on the team. Having good starters doesn't make championships. Good starters plus hungry depth wins championships.

Burris is a good tackler and seem to have the right instincts to play the middle. When he played in preseason, I thought he would back up Mclain. They should keep Gaither (or someone like that) as back-up just in case Burris is too small to shed blocks from the O-lineman.

Very true Mr Horn...I respect players from schools like Stanford, Rice, & Harvard where Its about making the grades over playing the game...Not that I was academically sound myself but still it shows their intelligence
