He sounds like a good addition and being a past head coach can only help > While his record as a head coach was not impressive, he has outstanding credentials as an assistant coach. He was another great defensive coordinator who just couldn't cut it as a head coach much like Norb Hecker, Steve Spagnuolo, and Bill Arnsbarger.
