Every time I read an article about who GB should draft I get more excited. DE! LB! TE! WR! I try an temper my expectations for rookies though, it is few and far between a rookie actually stands out and makes a HUGE difference. It migt take a year or two. That tends to happen when you always pick late in the first round.

This year seems like there are very good players late in the first round so GB should come away with something. I do hope for DE monster though!

Look for many of the early 1st round teams wanting to trade back this year, lots of value in the later part of the 1st round.

This may be putting it too simply. I hope that TT drafts the best player available in the Packers 1st round and that it fits a need. As we all know there are several areas of this team that need addressed.

How true.I dont like BPA only because that could be a qb,Do you want to spend a 1st round pick on a qb now with Rodgers here?
IF Rodgers were 34 or something,i can see it OR if Rodgers were talking retirement in a few years or playing the Favre game,i can see it,( Packers had no choice when Favre started talking retirement)
I do prefer BPA at a position we need.
I think its a shame Sherrod got injured and maybe done.( if there is a LT available,Ted has to jump on it,no guarantee Sherrod will be healthy enough to ever play again, that's a damn shame)
But yea, we can use another WR since we lost Driver and Jennings will prob go..although we do have Jones,Nelson,Cobb, and young players like Jeremy Ross and Boykins ( who knows if they will stick and progress but givin TT record of WRs ill give him the huge benefit of the doubt!) but Jones and Nelson are both FA after this year ( 13 season)and with Raji,Mathews and Rodgers coming up,who knows if we can afford to pay both or either of them, but, again the cap is going to flatten out for the next few years,so teams have to spread their cap room carefully ( IN GB case,Finley will free them up 8.5M next year when hes gone)but still a WR maybe a good move early! and if Boykins or ROss or both hit,we will be in great shape.
