'Tebow bill' faces Senate panel, House floor votes

A Virginia Senate committee is taking another look at legislation that would allow home-schooled students to play public school sports.

That's ridiculous. Forget the tax issue. If you've chosen to deny your child the socialization of a public school environment, you aren't a part of the public school. You can't say you don't like the curriculum, but you want the extracurricular benefits of a public education. I feel you're either all in or you're not. It would be unfair if an regular student got denied a spot on the team by somebody ho doesn't even go to the school.

Home Schoolers are allowed to carry concealed weapons to their home school. I have never heard of a home school being attacked by a deranged psychopath
