I am concerned about the coaching inexperience, but I'm anxious to see how we turn out this next season. I really hope we get suitable replacements for the guys that have to be cut loose.

i personally feel there is heart and soul missing in the RAIDERS right now. last year and a few years back we would be able to say, all we need is a O-linemen or a good (cb) and we'll be fine. or something like that. we got excited with the guys and coaches that were there. we had AL DAVIS (rest in peace). and i think that that is what we're missing. that leader, that heart and soul of the RAIDERS. that "commitment to excellence" and "just win baby" quotes. i haven't heard anything from these coaches or general managers or owner that they are going to bring back that mystique or that toughness that is the RAIDERS reputation. all or most of the coaches that we have hired in the past worked and talked about being domminent and things like that. have you guys heard anything like that from this staff? all you know is that they are building "a" team. THATS IT! there is this empty feeling here. the team colors and logo are still there with no soul. it does not mean these coaches and staff are not going to get things done. but, put some sugar on it! sugar coat it and say, we are going to chaange things and make this team great again with our staff. bring some security to the fans. we're all scattered here like lost bastard children. we need our daddy, our heart and soul, our al davis. we feel that way cause EVERYBODY'S NEW! well, most everyone is. but asssure us! tell us that we are still the RAIDERS, not just "a" team. we don't want to be like the rest of the nfl? it's good to be hated. it's good to be different! im trying to stay as positive as possible. winning will be nice for a start. but i still want to hear it from the staff. they need to start intimidating and then, get nasty on the field. a liitle concern? mmn yeah.
GO RAIDERS of 2012!!!

Well, as long as somebody has brought it up.......

Yeah, I am very concerned about the lack of coaching experience Allen is putting together. I'll wait to pass judgment on the new hired coaches though. You never know.....sometimes that's how you find the next "great" NFL coach. I hope that's what we're looking at in Oakland.......but I haven't slept well in 2-3 weeks--of course, that's nothing new for a Raider fan LOL

The Raiders will be alright. May take some time to work out the kinks but I think we are heading in the right direction. Finally we aren't just putting band aids on wounds. We look like a team trying to build the way a team should be built.

The head coach and his staff are not expected to be able to fart as loud as I can.

It looks like he is using the Josh McDaniels model employed in Denver....Bring in his brother to be QB coach who had no practical coaching experience unless you count on being a QB coach in high school.

Maybe you should just hire Matt Millen, keep it in the...you know... Raider's house

I could not agree more. Like R.E.M, "it is the end of the Raiders as we know it....and I am not fine!"

Careful, you might get bashed for dogging out McKenzie in only his first season...even though he sucks... Ron Wolf and Ted Thompson's little GB puppet...
