RAIDER NATION: WE'RE FRUSTRATED AND DISAPPOINTED'
oh well, what else can we say. dennis allen is trying to keep this RAIDER team focused throughout the rest of the season since we are definitely out of the playoffs. if they weren't focused when we had a chance how are they going to focus to win through out? i don't think dennis allen has that coaching ability to get his team's attention. i don't know if it's his age or his character but i'm not around to see it. he just has that look that players don't respect. but?
i could be wrong! i've been wrong before you know?(lol).

We the fans have been frustrated since our last superbowl run. Every year we keep thinking "this is the year...this is the year" but keep getting the same results. The last two years have been different, but 8-8 is not good enough, but it's better than double digit losing seasons.

First year GM and Head Coach have to make a good first impression, but they all knew this team was a mess when they came aboard.

"they" felt it was a mess! "I" personally don't think it was a mess. 8-8? WE WERE CLIMBING THE CHARTS "FINALLY". we had to get rid of our (D) coach and adjust a few players here and there, NOT TAKE THE WHOLE TEAM APART?! they say, if it's not broken, don't fix it! and i believe that's all mark davis was trying to do. he hired a (GM) which is good. THEN, THE FREAKIN (gm) turns this whole team upside down, inside out and outside in. look, it's not d allen's fault or the (O) and (D) coach's fault for being hired. it's the gm's fault for hiring them. a little more research would have probably done the trick. he (mckenzie) took a gamble, that's fine. and here are the results. mark davis took a gamble with mckenzie because of advise probably from j madden and word that his daddy was interested in mckenzie at one time but what did mark davis know? he was hardly around the office and just inherited a football team. so he had plenty of advise. no one ever knows how things are going to go and i really don't blame m davis, but i think i mainly point the finger at mckenzie IMO. and that's mainly because he set this team back instead of fixing the problem. the issue now is, will he? maybe, but we have to wait 3,4,5, yrs more? how patient is the RAIDER nation? better said, how patient is m davis? he said he's got patience but he looks a little un-patient to me. i think he's more of a quick fix guy. but yet to be detrmined! as far as me? i prefer a quick fix so that i can enjoy my football team next season. and i don't really mind starting with an 8-8 season with a chance at the playoffs.

On the surface it looked like we were climbing, but Hue's rah rah coaching style was losing the locker room, it was already divided. We were going no where fast. Smart move yanking him. Now of course when you change ownership, add a GM, change most of the coaches and partially overhaul the roster....you are going to take a few steps back. But it is for the better long haul. That said, there likely will be some tweaking of o and possibly d coaches. And some more talent changes. Butstaying the course with DA is a better option than changing the HC AGAIN! The bright spot I see in DA is this is the first team RaiderNation has had in over a decade that plays the whole game. They never back off and never give. That is a sight for sore eyes. A new OC and a few player upgrades and we are a force to be reckined with.

Well it seems to me that Mark Davis is patient but he doesn't want to see things go backwards. He hired McKenzie to control all football operations and I think he's doing what he thinks is best for the organization. Yes we the fans want to see WINS and fast, but I think his biggest issues right now is balancing the checkbook...Al Davis over paid a lot of players for underperforming and yet alone for losing. I think we just need to ride this season out and hope for the best and see how he handles the draft since we have some decent selection slots this year.

well i guess i have sore eyes (LOL). i liked hue jackson and i believe his team liked him other than a few cry babies that can't handle being yelled at by their mommy or daddy cause they get their feelings hurt. i understand a (GM) is going to come in and add his own coaching staff. i doubt any gm has came in and left the head coach there that was there already right? maybe? i mean i don't know? and like i said, it is what it is. i guess i was expecting a lot better. maybe the 9ers got me jelouse with their new coach and hitting it big. just our luck!, we're in for the long haul after a decade of waiting. hopefully m davis does something about it STARTING TODAY!(lol)

DA is a young head coach and he did not have alot of ties to Coordinators with experience other than Knapp. In the past, this was not an issue since Al Davis had the coordinators in place when hiring a head coach. Al Davis knew the value of experienced coaches. The lack of coaching experience is starting to show-up and the issue that Mark Davis is beginning to see. I think Al anticipated the Raiders continuing to do what he did. If Ron Wolf said to Mark Davis that Reggie can pick players, that is one piece of what Al did. Reggie left the coaching up to the head coach. I thinking the coaching is further away than just a little tweaking. It's nice to say give DA a chance, the truth is they have not improved and are getting worse. If DA can't salvage something this season, then he will not be the guy or leader the Organization needs in the future.

his chance will be the rest of the season. regardless, even if he loses the rest of the season, i believe he will get that second chance. but if we were to get into the same look the first six games in 2013? he may get fired before the half of the season. I think mark davis is expecting at least getting into the playoffs next season.
