World's smallest horse visits hospital patients

Patients at the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children received a much needed diversion this morning when Thumbelina, the world's smallest horse, paid them a visit.

Great story! From what I've heard, the patients in hospitals, nursing homes, etc., benefit greatly from visits like this. Many of them have (or had) pets at home, and welcome meeting a new "furry friend."

Thumbelina used to travel with the carnival circuit. This sounds like a much better life for the little horse

just what you need in a ward full of sick people, a little stinking horse crapping everywhere. I would have thrown up - I would much prefer to see cats.
