When will these 'rescues' end?

Rescuing a newspaper with government money? Does this sound like a recipe for disaster to anyone but me? Think of a few things that might be a problem with this.
1. Who decides what paper gets relief?
2. What happens when one of these papers challenges the current administration?(that means now AND in the future)
3. Is there a point at which the government takes over failing newspapers because they are 'to big to fail'?
4. I yes to 3 then what makes the new paper any different than the old Soviet Union's Pravda?
This is a BAD IDEA all around it is the ultimate in capital letter BAD IDEA. Anyone who supports bailouts of a news agency needs to have their ignorance cured.
"The Constitution of most of our states (and of the United States) assert that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves; that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed and that they are entitled to freedom of person, freedom of religion, freedom of property, and freedom of press."
