How many actors and actresses in the last month are pushing up daisies ..and what...David Cassidy wants to be next?

He was such a cute guy. Why would he drink his good looks away? Guess fame isn't all that grand. Sad stuff.

Their hit single "I Think I Love You" was my first 45, and was my all-time favorite song in the universe, when I was 5. I played that record over and over for months on my little portable record player, until my sister got sick of it and broke it into pieces. I ran crying to my mother showing her the broken pieces, and I'll never forget her response - "Well, you were kind of playing it too much, maybe it's for the best..." I was mortified! I loved the Partridge Family back then.

I still miss that record...

Failure to dim lights ..... hmmm.
When I see these type stories I think of how many times regular people have had a few beers and would probably register over the limit .... just saying.

It amazes me how these people with so much destroy themselves, drinking, drugs, etc.

I realize everyone has issues and most of the time after they have passed or get into trouble everyone around them says " Well they've had problems for along time"

My question is..why didn't somebody try to help them if everybody knew there was a problem.?

It makes no sense to me. All these people who make money off of them you would think would try to keep them healthy mind and body..

Who wants to stop a money train?

This isn't his first DUI. It seems he and other celebrities like Lindsay Lohan not only set a bad example but they get way more chances than the average Joe.

Oh please, stars are no different than the average Joe. People are people everywhere. People shoot up, drink and piss their money away everyday outside Hollywood.
True but we the people hold famous people up to a higher standard.
Why? Idk, beats the hell out of me but we do. We build them up but love to watch them fall then give them second chances with our money and attention.

I think we're all alittle sadistic..lol

That made me think of a record my mom bought me. I was thinking I was about 5, but by looking at this link, I must have been 10.

I guess it's hard when you are famous for your good looks etc.......and then you age.......and your looks go south. Ultimately you are no longer "TV worthy" and your celebritry status deminishes...... So they deal with it in different ways, some get hideous plastic surgery, hair implants, etc......others drink and/or do drugs. The ones with strong inner fortitude just gracefully fade out of the limelight.

It's life.

I remember my kid brother buying that 45 single back when it first came out. He bought it at a Singer's sewing machine store. There was a section in the back that had Top 20 (maybe Top 40 too) records for sale. Bell Record label, silver-colored...

I always thought it was sorta odd that a sewing machine place would be selling 45rpm hit singles.

Spirit Mountain is the one that is toward the beach from Dallas.
I used to work on a farm with a guy that's uncle or grandfather owned an old house where they made Spirit Mountain. He said they gave him a lot of money for it. I partied at that house a few times.

Lots of stars get DUI's, if there is a hall of shame more than half would be there.
