:) Yeah, paperdolls were my favorite toys.I have Petticoat Junction,Hailey Mills,Lucille Ball,Tammy,Shirley Temples (2),Flintstones,Disney,and several ordinary sets.Even have a box of 'Millie the Model' paperdolls from the old comic books of the same name. And Betsy McCalls from the same name magazines.
I never see any paperdolls in stores anymore.(regular ones).I did find a 2 ft. tall Barbie pd set for grandaughter last year at Walmarts.
You should take the paper dolls to a collector to see what they're worth! You may be sitting on a gold mine! Or at least silver!

The Stand is a classic! My favorite by far. At the time that I wrote my profile a couple of years ago, I had just finished reading Desperation! I'd much rather read his books than watch the adaptations in movies. With the exception of The Stand! Loved the movie almost as much as the book! I haven't read Rose Madder. I'll have to get that one!

<quoted text>I still have most my teeth. I say that cuz I never got wisdom teeth in, and needed braces as a kid, so a few had to be pulled at that time. I'm now ready for some store bought teeth, lol, weird I know. Preferrably made of titanium cuz there are a few people I'd like to rip to shreds.
Don't know if thats more expensive than gold which I believe would be like having a fat bank account these days. I was told that anything Barney Rubble is quite collectable.

I have lots of family photos, some are daguerreotypes from about the mid 1800's.

A couple of my mom's dolls including Shirley Temple (she is in rough shape)and Betsy McCall, books and tea set from the 30's. Some of the small dolls with clothes my grandmother crocheted for them.

Lots of kitchen stuff and china!

I kept my Mary Poppins doll and Crissy (the one with the hair that "grows" when you turn the knob) and some stuffed animals for my second childhood. LOL

I sold all my Barbie stuff, Little Kiddles, and a Twiggy doll a while ago.

I knew you couldn't depart from me too much. How I miss those long nights that you were "extra nice" to me and how you used to position me ever so close to you........ Bring me back to bed with you, let's rekindle some fire from yesteryear shall we.
