Hi MG. I had all sorts of stuff like that when I was a girl. Some passed down to me. When my cousin had a daughter I gave it to her. I asked what happened to that stuff, but never heard anything. My guess is it got destroyed. Happy you still have yours.

It's been well loved, but the music box in the teapot still works and the ballerina still turns. I'll give it to the little one someday. It's sitting in the china hutch now.

How are you feeling MO4? I know everyone on offbeat divided. I am just not sure how it went. I am trying to stay neutral now ... except with Faith Healer. But still trying. Lol

I have a scrapbook my dad's mother made. She died when my dad was a teen. They were Catholic. Inside is a Social Telegram via Canandian Pacific to my grandmother while she was in Hotel Dieu Hospital Windsor, Ont congradulating her on the birth of my father. It is from her brother. I also have the card my dad's parents gave him when he made his first communion. Then I have two certificates. One is for my dad's mothers first Holy Communion dated May 25, 1922 and the other is for my dad's dad's Baptism and it is dated June 26th, 1918. It has a ton of photos and articles in it as well. It is dry rotted though and I am wonder how it can be save bfore it crumbles into dust.

From my side of the family nothing. My aunt took or threw it all away. From my husband's side old pictures, letters and telegrams. A dairy from 1899, a baby book from the 30s and some old books. Art work, some painted by my father in law.

You still have your paper dolls! I wish I still had mine! I loved playing with them when I was a little girl.

I still have an afghan that my great grandmother crocheted for me. My most prized possession is the cedar chest my Dad made for me for my 19th Christmas! I've had it, treasured it and showed it off for the last 30 years!

Ditto on the jukebox and 45's Skipper!

I still have most my teeth. I say that cuz I never got wisdom teeth in, and needed braces as a kid, so a few had to be pulled at that time. I'm now ready for some store bought teeth, lol, weird I know. Preferrably made of titanium cuz there are a few people I'd like to rip to shreds.

I'm not much of a keeper of things. Thank God family has kept the photos from our lives. I still have my good health, even though I've been diabetic for 31 yrs.
