Both my wife and I love hockey. I order the nhl center ticket on directv ...so we can watch all the games. I like a lot of sports, but hockey is so exciting ... with nonstop action.

End of the second period was crazy in Montreal Blackhawks game. Montreal had a few chances and Crawford had a ridiculous save.

Yeah. He was awesome. I don't think they lost any games with him in the net, but he was just supposed to be the back up. There was a big question about who should start in the net for the playoffs ... him or Crawford. Emery ended up getting hurt right before the playoffs, tho.

I wish they could have kept him, but he's too good to be a backup and with the salary cap, you can't keep everyone you would like to keep.

I've never been a fan of hockey, but I've watched ice hockey a few times on TV and I enjoyed it. Very rugged sport. Now that Allentown will have its first hockey arena, I think I would enjoy seeing a live hockey game. Some of the residents in Allentown are skeptical about the new addition but Allentown was really going downhill. The down town area use to be thralling years ago, but that all changed with urban decay and crime. Famous stores like Hesses was torn down years before and many people were afraid to even venture downtown. I like what the mayor is doing for our town. At least he's doing something. Old buildings were torn down and made way for the new. Many businesses will take up residence there, too. I hope the arena will be a success.

That's good to hear. He sounds like a standup guy.

He had a few shots on goal, but Markov had both goals for Montreal. It was an exciting game and a good one

Oh, yeah.

Hockey is a great game to see live, watch on TV or even listen to on the radio.

In baseball, you can hear a distinctive sound of a home run ball hit by a bat. But it doesn't match the "PING!" when a slapshot hits the goal posts.

And your reaction will be "Oh! So Close!" or "Oh, Soiling Shorts! So Close! Whew." depending on which side shot the puck.

I'm a bit of a homer so I root for the Flyers.

With a good hockey game, you don't really need to favor one team. A fast up and down pace, shot on goal, oh no! numbers breaking the other way! Goalie just did a backflip cartwheel to keep that out! Look out, numbers going the other way.

The only team I despise is the Jersey Devils. Not for Brodeur or the Cups they won. Nor their defensive trap system (back when the red line counted for passing).

I despise the Devils because they managed to make the game utterly boring to watch.

Devils playing on TV? Let's see if there's a soccer or cricket game on...

I am a VERY loyal Flyers fan...I bleed Orange and Black...but I will call them out...if they are not playing up to their potential.
I really Don't care for the Penguins...they don't play like a team...it's all about Crosby...the weasel...btw, I wonder what brand of lipstick he wears...I think it's Cover Girl...you know...Easy, Breezy Cover Girl...LOL

I live far away from Chicago, and when I visit I usually make it up there in the summer. So, I haven't been for awhile. I have looked for tickets when they come down to NC. They played each other really during the season, tho, this year. They play again one more time, but it is in Chicago.

I have been to some games, tho. One of my earliest memories is being at old Chicago stadium, with my dad and his boss, eating cracker jack.

The blackhawks were really bad the last 10 years I lived, there, though. Old man Wirtz was a miser and games weren't usually televised, because he thought no one would come see them play in person if they could watch them on their tv. Didn't want to pay for good players, either. Just really antiquated thought. His son Rocky owns the team now and is a much better owner.
