Lmao. That might would b a decent point dilf if I had called anyone on this thread names but since I didn't its a moot point. I don't have to lash out with personal insults to make my point unlike some people.

Kids don't have a problem with nakedness. Id b willing to bet it wasn't a kid that complained to the waterpark about this ladies choice of bikinis.

Carry on the insults only tell me that it is yalls last ditch effort to make a point.

Point is a lady was wearing a bikini at a waterpark and was asked to cover up she choose not to and was asked to leave. End of story. No where in the article did it talk of her body or what the bikini was showing so its all speculation from there. Just like some are speculating about me. I am a mother of 4 don't live in a trailer park I own my house and the land it sits on. and spend a great deal of time in a bikini at the pool with my kids in the summer.

You know what I think is sad?
Is that people show a woeful lack of respect for others. If I was in charge, yes, I would ask them to leave. A place where children are abundant should be a safe place for them.
I myself have gotten out of line with my kids when they were small at 6 Flaggs because the group of idiots in front of us thought the f-bomb in every sentence was cool.
Nothing cool about lack of education.
Everyone is so intent about THEIR rights that they don't see how they are trampling other peoples rights. Adult actions should be displayed at adult places. Leave kids to enjoy themselves while they are young. Plenty of time to toss them into the real world of adult perversion.
Why is this so hard for some of you to comprehend?
when someone doesn't agree with u it is not a lack of comprehension it is a simple difference of opinion that comes from that persons own life experiences.
Rights are the privilege of everyone not just people that share ur opinions.
In my experience if young people are using fowl language around kids and u approach them nicely they usually watch their mouths a lil better. But it is their right to say those words. It's ur responsibly to remove ur kids from that scene or explain to them how those words arent for lil kids to say.
You can't just trample on everyone else's rights in the name of ur kids. Everyone has the right to enjoy themselves at these parks. Everyone's defination of enjoyment is different.

You see .... you still don't get it. Actually foul language in public is considered indecent.

In Houston a woman was ticketed for using the "F" word in public.

At one time in this country people were considerate of other people and didn't use bad language around children and women. Presently, however, many just say, "Hey, it's free speech, I can say what I want and you have no right to complain." What a mature attitude -- not.
Source(s):
Tex. Penal Code Ann.§§ 42.01(a)(1), 49.02(a)(West Supp. 2007) concerning disorderly conduct -- this law was referenced by someone else on another message board so I can't claim to have looked it up. The statute states: the statute provides:“a) A person commits an offense if he intentionally or knowingly:(1) uses abusive, indecent, profane, or vulgar language in a public place”

It's call common decency and just by your post, you are showing you have none.
You do not have the right to infringe on others, whether it be by your lack of clothing or foul mouth. A park designed for families is not the place to be an exhibitionist.

Common courtesy isn't so common anymore.

Yeah the only point to argue is if the waterpark management FAIRLY exercised its right based on ONE fact that the puny article attached to this thread reported. She was advised to put on SHORTS or leave. As "BatCat" asked, for their liking the gal must have been "too cheeky"!

Everything else is "argument fluff".

This article "fleshes out" the incident, though there are no pics published taken from "behind". Very readable, wouldn't take long. Comments are interesting too:

>>> Sheaffer went to the park on Tuesday with four other members of her family. After she got into the pool with her niece and nephew, she was approached by staff who told her she had to put on shorts because her bottoms were too small, she claims.

When the supervisor came over at her request, she was told to cover up or leave the park. <<<<

You missed the point again...lol imagine that.

If u approach people in a nice civil manner( another example of common decency) they will usually watch their mouth around ur kids.

What people don't understand about free speech is thst it comes with responsibilities.
As does it being ur responsibility to keep ur kids away from things u yourself find not suitable for your kids
You can not police every single person that u and your kids encounter in public. It is ur place to teach ur kids what u believe is wrong. Use those moments of others being what u call inappropriate as a teaching tool for ur kids on how not to act. You losing it in front of ur kids over a few f bombs is not teaching ur kids a positive lesson it is teaching them if u don't get ur way pitch a fit to get ur way. If u would have removed urself from that part of the line like letting a few groups of people behind u in front of u it would have put distance between ur kids n the cussers and given u the chance to handle it like a grown mature individual instead of stooping to the cussers level. You could have handled it in a graceful way. You made a point of bringing it to your kids attention front and clear when u caused a scene. Again u can't police everyone that doesn't have ur exact morals and values.

Who said anything about losing it?
We walked away, a confrontation with a bunch of hood rats wouldn't solve the problem.
Again .... some people can't seem to govern themselves.
A family expect a certain level of decency at a FAMILY orientated establishment. Key word .... family. I'm sure if this park didn't supervise a few low brow swimmers, it wouldn't do much business. All about pleasing the bulk of your customers and making money.
You want to hang out of your bathing suit, go ahead, but do so at the proper place.

Aw reebs, that's nice of you to 'say'. I miss crossing post-paths more often as well. I surmise we both had busy long weekends, so little wonder more recently. Been around some though.
