and yet, when it's a privately owned business, I think they have the right to serve who they want...

The problem is, people like that are winning. They want their "civil rights" at the expense of those of others. It is like the teen loudly demanding "respect" while swearing and giving the middle finger.

She was only expressing her independence. She never complained about the bulges in the shorts of the male workers at the water park.

I see nothing wrong with her bikini, but it is a family park.
Some people have no class. And it is kinda low class to be spilling out of your bathing suit with small children about.

I didn't mean to go off track, but I do think a business can make rules, post 'em and then enforce 'em.

Fat people spill out of their swimsuits, clothes etc, but no one tells them to cover up. Same prinicpal. It is a family park, no one should have to see that much skin due to obesity.
You don't have to be a muslim to wear one, besides, you would be doing the public at large a huge favor if you wore one. You know what they say, beauty is only skin deep, but ugly goes clear to the bone, and in your case, radiates out about the shoulder area and above. Of course, there's always the trusty paper bag.

And I'll tell you what ole Harley ho-hum, any person any size should be aware of the rights of others not to see droopy boobs and half your butt flopping around. It's tasteless and inappropriate in front of families. Anyone with morals can see the difference.

K first of all , she is as entitled to wear a bikini as any 18 year old hot babe...that being said,,

her boobs are lopsided.. and I dont care how great your body is.. there is such a thing as class and age appropriate.. a 40 something woman can still be amazingly hot and sexy without trying to compete with her 18 year old daughter....she just looks foolish desparate and socially retarded to me...

I defended their right to cuss, but am decrying the logic of behaving in a way that others take to be disrespectful while trying to gain more respect. In other words, I was calling out the hypocrisy. Whether I think it is rigt to cuss or not has no bearing on whether it is appropriate to cuss while demanding respect. I tend to look at things in a highly compartmentalized way. So while I think society should lighten up on what it deems as "disrespectful," there is a lot to say for discretion. Just because you can use what people consider profane speech doesn't mean you have to. So I believe it should be legal (first amendment) and not an arrestable offense, but that others would do good to use this freedom wisely.

And yes, I believe it is their house, and therefore their rules. In this case I happen to agree with them. But just because I accept the notion that someone has the right to set the rules to their own place, that doesn't mean I always agree with the logic or reasoning. Just because you can throw someone out for whatever reason not covered under discrimination laws, that doesn't mean you have to or that it is wise to do so. I could ask someone to leave for wearing an orange shirt, but then I would alienate the customers who love wearing orange.

Again is people being hung up over the human body, the waterpark is completely in the wrong here in my opinion. But then, I live in a state and city where public nudity is not illegal providing you aren't "behaving in a manner to sexually stimulate or arouse yourself, or others" so I don't think you should have to wear anything that water park, after all it's only a naked human body! Nothing to be upset about or "protect" children from.
