So, another medical review today. I still continue to dance the "is the cancer back and if so it's incurable" quadrille, but the team seemed more positive today. Going for a further scan at the end of March - if the activity in the jaw muscle has not increased, it is damage caused by radiotherapy, not cancer. Just have to wait and see.
hey there you are........ been thinking of ya hun...... i know you are going to be glued to the telly for the next couple of weeks..... those guys are amazing......

Just so glad to see you back Tony...cannot see the team giving you false hope...
How did you go on with the floods, or is that a silly question? Saw on the news
how bad Cornwall was hit.
No problem or the floods for me - although my view is across the Lynher River, I am 100ft up from the flood plain. Other parts of the county have been hard hit - Cawsand/Kingsand in particular, although it's been no picnic in both Devon and Somerset.

Just happened to be on here....

We are both lucky in that respect then, just pity the poor souls who are
still without homes. There was one occasion we had booked lunch about
50 miles away and were taking a friend, an elderly gent, when we got to
a certain point the river had flooded the bridge we were to go over,
fortunately the 'boss' knows of another route, so after what seemed like hours
of driving, and probably was, we finally got there, our guest looking worse for
wear in the back seat, the hotel honoured the lateness of the visit, and the food
was well worth the hassle, so our friend, a former chef, was well happy!

Hi Tony, just popped in to see how you are. It seems bloody ridiculous to start hoping you have radiotherapy damage!

Sending you lots of love ..... Stay strong mate

Feel fine - thanks for all your thoughts folks. Nothing to report - jaw mobility is improving and no pain - so I really do wonder whether they have got the diagnosis wrong. Still waiting on the next scan - don't you just love the incompetence of NHS admin staff? Docs and nurses are brilliant, but the admin staff would have difficulty running a bath if you showed them where the taps are!

So, yesterday was the review to give me the results of the scan they took two weeks ago. NO CANCER!!! As you might imagine, last night was something of a celebration - now I can get on with planning the rest of my life (or at least the next month until they decide to scare me again!!).
