Well, just look @ all the good deeds people have done, and "WE" wonder why the world much less the "United States" is in the shape it is???

Good deeds is not a voluntary objective, it's a
fact of life:
The Golden Rule:
One should treat others as one would like others to treat oneself.
One should not treat others in ways that one would not like to be treated.

This is not meant to be a lecture, just a reminder
you get out of life what you put in it. How you expect others to react is a reflection of yourself.
So 'small' or "LARGE" ~~~

Yesterday when I showed up to pick up my load I was informed that the guy in charge was out sick and that the load wasn't ready. The guy filling in for him was all worked up, said he had no idea I was coming, and needed to talk to his boss. After surmising the situation I said look, just bring the pallets out and I'll rap them, and he said no, I'll have them get someone to do it and I said just let me. Took us about 2 hours to get my truck loaded and he continued to thank me, then his foreman thanked me, then the boss thanked me. And I said well, were all trying to accomplish the same thing here, and that's earn a dollar.

reebie she'd go along with ol but sweet/never!

The company I had last night use to live across the lake from me and he finished our basement up.
I had lots of leftover plastic water tubing and he's remodeling his home so I gave it to him.
Also I had a golf cart canopy I'd used in a couple snow ball golf matches and he'd just purchased a new cart for the camping area so I gave that to him also, he left a "Happy Camper!".

While waiting for my back to heal, y husband is doing his #1 most hated task: dishes. We don't have an automatic dish washer. He volunteered. What a sweetheart! He also cooks dinner each evening. He's earned his gold star!
Me? I'm finding it very hard NOT to work. When I do - it sets me back 2 or 3 days. To NOT do something is where I get my gold stars.

Gave a kid at the gas station, who had a handfull of pennies trying to buy a candybar, a dollar to go with his change. He thanked me repeatedly. Think I made his day.
