Hi Flower.
Sometime, I'll have to tell you the whole story about where the "copper gaff" came from. Reader's Digest version- A captain in Kona used it. His name was 'Norm', but he wasn't the famous one (Norm Issacs), but he was fairly well known. I can't take credit for it.
Mrs showed me her Facebook last night! Whoa!! I mentioned she should 'friend' you, I think she's thinking about it. It is VERY entertaining! Our daughter, and my step sister mostly, and her sister a little bit, have kind of taken over her pages. Her sister never had any kids and her dogs are very important to her, so she has lots of dog stuff. She put a poster/picture with,,,oh, no, my mind went blank....anyway, it made me think of you. It was an old saying about life that was altered with a 'four' in it (about dogs being life) with dog paw prints all over it. My daughter uses a lot of bad language, I don't know where she got that! lol But, posts lots of interesting stuff. Her Halloween picture of her, my grandson and the new husband was funny. Grandson's head was a baseball and the new husband was holding a baseball bat. dayum!
LOL ... just let me know so I can turn off my privacy settings and let you know what name to look under & then we can do the deed ... TTYS ...

Morning Fishman ... Facebook is fun and a LOT of O/B posters are over there albeit under their suspected "real" names ... It's fun and pretty much troll free >cough< for the most part ... thus the need for privacy settings ...

I'm going to go play Big Time's song over there and wake everyone up, lol ... Let me know when you do go over to the dark side, hahahaha

Enjoy your day ... Peace & Love, FC <3 ...

Interesting interview ... Did you know Norah Jones was related to Ravi Shankar? The 3 of us are of the same age ... Well, that was the 60's and I don't remember much of it, do you? Remember Ravi? Sitar & incense?

I'd play Incense & Pepperment by Strawberry Alarm Clock but by phone ... IDK how to do that ... IDK if that is even who even sang it ... the 60's were really good to me, LOL J/K ...

Good day ...

Which 3? You, Norah and Billy?
LOL. I feel a tangent coming on.(It's your fault, sorry for getting a little off your topic though.)
My first bike was green, at about 4 I think. Green was my favorite color, but everyone said 'green is for girls'(because it started with 'g'?),'blue is for boys'. So, from then on, I changed my favorite color to blue for the rest of my bikes and my first car. What a wimp, huh? Then, I didn't like the Beatles that much in grade school (liked Herman's Hermits, Dave Clark 5 and the Monkeys- embarrassing a little now), but everyone had to know who was your favorite Beatle. I would say, "George", since I liked the guitar best. I stuck with George through High School, especially since I played guitar then (Our band did Incense and Perpermints- Stawberry Alarmclock). The Ravi Shankar thing made it a little hard then though.
Wikipedia:http://en.wikipedia. org/wiki/George_Harrison
"During the Beatles' American tour in August 1965, Harrison's friend David Crosby of the Byrds introduced him to Indian classical music and the work of sitar maestro Ravi Shankar.[261][262] Harrison described Shankar as "the first person who ever impressed me in my life ... and he was the only person who didn't try to impress me."[263] Harrison became fascinated with the sitar and immersed himself in Indian music..."
Then, in college, I got into reading Alan Watts and listened to John Lennon all the time. Over the years, I've bought more John, Paul, and even Ringo records than Georges.
But, now, I've changed again (have to roll with the changes). After reading and learning SO much from the book- The Sociopath Next Door, by Martha Stout, I have different feelings about John. My mom was a sociopath, so, I'm not knocking John, he was great. But I'm going back to liking George best, not because of his music, but because of his beliefs. Even in the 60's, he was not as much of a materialist. He could have made a lot more money without a frigin sitar. In the end, on Maui, I've heard good stories about how he was a nice guy and not into things and possessions.
I wonder if Ravi was a big influence on him?
My belief in karma has a lot to do with George and maybe in a way, Ravi.
Rest in peace, George and Ravi-

Oh, not calling you old!
Another thing in that interview that surprised me was that both Norah and Billy said their moms were born in Oklahoma!(was that their moms?)
Here, I'll do you a favor-

Incense and Pepermints- Strawberry Alarm Clock
lol Our band, we only had 3, didn't quite sound like that I'm sure.
