It's a shame to see Tony's career slipping away knowing what he has done, to purposely run over an innocent child to act cute! No wonder no big team owners wanted him, so he had to set sail on his own with Haas!
He was an aggressive driver with his Home Depot car and no one wanted him on their team after he showed his azz so many times in such a negative shameful way! I wonder what 10 years in prison is going to feel like.....
He wasn't happy when Gibbs switched to Toyota is why he left

It would be best for NASCAR if Tony Stewart didn't show up this weekend!

Not only doing the respectful thing, but the safe thing, for him and the other drivers. Can't imagine him being in a normal state of mind at the moment. This has to be weighing heavy on his mind.

I imagine it will stick with him for the rest of his life.

Never was a fan of Stewart, but nobody should have to live with something like that.

All because of a hot headed kid, that played in traffic and tried to grab a hold of a moving car.

Remorse is not the word to describe Tony's actions for there is no feeling of guilt, being shameful, hurtful, or violent, only the empty feeling he has
for the misery that it's caused and will continue to burden the minds of so many.
My heartfelt blessing for all concerned!

My life is great, unlike yours! You are so many people on here talking to yourself and claiming that you have 'cancer'! You're a complete idiot! I'm not throwing rocks, it's the truth about you.....

Yup.

Not a big fan of his either.

Saw where the kid's father is now slinging accusations at Stewart. While I can certainly understand his grief, I'm wondering if he has taken a moment to question whether his son would've ran down onto the track like that if the other driver had been anyone other than Tony Stewart?

He probably has. As a father myself... he's probably looked at every angle possible that puts Stewart at fault and not his own son. I feel for the man, I truly do. It wouldn't be easy to accept that your own child was the one responsible for the tragedy. I imagine a civil suit will soon follow, because he's in denial.

But after viewing everything that I've seen... Stewart tried to save the kid, by steering away from him. By cutting the wheel to the inside and hitting the throttle was the only option he had . If he'd have hit the throttle while steering towards the wall and Ward Jr. then I would say he was trying to spray dirt on him. Which would make Stewart liable.

There is no way Stewart should face any jail time for this, nor should he have to pay in a civil suit. The wreck itself was just part of racing. JMO.

But the mental part of getting behind a wheel competitively, may be lost for Stewart, forever. In a way, he's also a victim of this tragic event. Some may not want to look at this way...
