This is too much like the girls who were sleeping in a street. It was a cul-de-sac, but still, they shouldn't have been star-gazing and sleeping there. Now, if there had been flares, safety tape, cones, etc., and the parents were watching all night, it would have been different.

Then there was similar story, but no harm came and the mother was arrested. The neighbors said the kid was playing in the street unsupervised and had the mom who was watching from the porch arrested. Most on here were anti-cop at the time, while in the previous story, the posters were going after the parents. Just think about the first tragedy I mentioned, if a cop had come by and either just made the kids go inside or hauled a parent off to jail. Sure, it would have been inconvenient and may have resulted in a criminal record, but the girls would still be alive.

So back to this story, you have to be careful where you sleep, play, ride ATVs, fish, hunt, etc.

Yeah, I guess the phrase "startled out of a snooze" is appropriate when run over by a harvester. Either that or, i don't know, maybe SHREDDED TO BITS and F***ING PIECES would work too.

Lucky guy.

Or very fat. I read of one where a guy was getting out of a cab. He wasn't getting out to skip payment, but to be able to reach his payment. He was quite obese. The cabby thought he was trying to skip payment and tried running over him. The guy sustained no significant injuries.
