Well, most slugs are hermaphrodites, even the common land slugs that crawl up walls when it it damp. Those might be the great grey slugs. They keep their genitals in their heads. Their lung is on one side and their genitals are on the other side.

First one secretes a scent in its slime, and if another is interested, it follows the trail. Then it will eventually catch up and crawl onto the other one. Then the other one carries it to an overhang. They start to secrete mucus and they both dangle from it. Then they unfold their genitals and intertwine them together. They both release sperm cells. If things go normally, they then detangle their genitals and themselves and cut the "cord" of mucus and then drop to the ground. But they sometimes require a plan B and end up amputating to get apart. So at least one of them might end up being just a girl when it is over. However, land slugs don't regenerate that part like these sea slugs.
