Just wondering... do men like strong , opinionted women who stay true to their beliefs?, see i am strong and opinionated on certian things, like i need respect, that's all i ask for, but there's a fire inside me, i can be a fighter and i stand up for what i believe in, and i stand up for the innocent and the people who can't stand up for themselves
What you believe in may very well be wrong. People who can't stand up for themselves can also be wrong. Don't stand up for what you believe in, stand up for what you have found provably to be true. But generally no, men do not like strong opinionated women, nor do women. No one likes strong opinionated anything. The term is 'arrogant and pigheaded', it's like the 'strong black woman' stereotype, that's just a polite way to say 'loud obnoxious coon bitch' without calling a spade a spade (no pun intended!)

nothing wrong with having an opinion, its just when the person is pushy and annoying with that opinion that most cant stand, doesnt matter if that opinion is coming from a woman or a man, its downright rude and others will just tune that person out, so in the end they make themselves look like a fool.
and Thats my opinion.
lol

And it is a very good opinion.

I firmly believe that you have a right to believe what you want, even if it is wrong. Standing up for what you believe is important since everyone is an individual and to stand up for what you believe is to stand up for you.

You are right that men don't like strong opinionated women. They like rape victims, bags, and anyone who makes them seem like they are stronger than they are. I just wish I could get men to see that I am strong and opinionated before they even speak to me in the first place. I might do what one Black woman around here does. She loudly proclaims her likes and dislikes as she walks around. Nobody messes with her, and that is what I want, the right to walk outside and be ignored or left alone. She even yells racial slurs, saying she prefers White men and has no time for her own race of men. I now understand why she does that. Live around here for 15-20+ years and being hit on by less than desirable people and aggressive people of one race trying to get with a certain other race of women and stuff, and it will drive you insane or at least to the point where you'd feign insanity.

I believe there is a huge difference between opinionated and arrogant.

Self-assured, confident men, with good self-esteem and who have strong opinions of their own, like and respect strong opinionated women.

Men lacking self-assurance, self-esteem and strong opinions of their own are threatened by strong opinionated women and neither like nor respect them.

So often our society confuses self-assurance with arrogance. A pleasant, soft-spoken person is very often confused with being a doormat. An arrogant man wouldn't want a self assured woman, any more than a Bytch would want a self-assured man.

A not well-kept secret: Many arrogant, loud, self-proclaimed self-assured guys are actually jello-like inside, at least semi-spineless and weak-willed to boot. The meek might very well eventually inherit the Earth, but I'm not seeing it happening in the R W right now.:)

A gal with strong opinions, unafraid to state them, is much more attractive, interesting and intriguing to me than a gal who doesn't. There's still a gals vs. guys double standard. Strong-willed guys are seen as tough negotiators. Strong-willed gals are f n ______.:(

Not everybody who is offended by know-it-all women lacks self assurance. There is a big difference between a strong and confident women with strong and carefully thought out principles who has something to say and an opinionated know-it-all who has to say something. The former have my highest respect and the latter, none at all. A confident man should have no problem with being corrected by a woman who knows what she is talking about and who offers the advice in a dignified manner.

Again the spin you put on things comes back to bite you on the azz. Specifically, you used the phrase "know-it-all women" in your reply to my prior. Yet I didn't use "know-it-all" in my prior. Why do strong opiniated women threaten you so? You might benefit by seeking professional help to work on your obvious case of femaphobia. LOL
