I'm sure he's not paying them minimum wage.
I do wonder if he pays into unemployment and workers
comp....?
It made me so sad to see those poor guys sneaking
around like this was a "police state" or something.
Hell they may be illegal for all I know.
What I feel tho is that they are being taken advantage
of.
I wanted to call someone about this but my husband
says I could make life even worse for these guys.
You had better hope the immigration bill doesn't pass. Illegals will not get Obama care right? Now who is an employer going to hire, you who he has to pay a $2,000 fine on for not providing you health insurance or an illegal aliens who can't get Obama care??????

Okimar,
AGAIN let me explain. I'm an Independent. I vote for both parties depending on the issues ans what I believe in. Did I vote for Obama? Yes! Why? Do you really need to ask that question.
Haven't watched Honey Boo Boo but she's cute and Call of the Wildman all I can say is..... LIVE ACTION!!!! LOL
As for terms on elected officials, hell yes I'll vote for that!!
We are a lot more alike than I thought.
I am Independent (always have been), own and
am trying to grow a small business, what I have
can't be called a "farm" although I wish. lol

I can't stand Honey Boo Boo but the Turtle man
is quite cool. lol

I voted for Obama b/c I felt the Reps were so
damn far off the mark when it comes to typical,
average American families.
And they have continued to prove me right.
They want to fight over abortion. Even tho it's
been legal since Roe vs Wade. By Supreme Court
decision non the less.

They need to get w/the current issues like raising
the minum wage, that way many families Could get off
of public assistance, getting immigrants on the path
to citizenship, start making these multi billion
dollar corps pay taxes (stop giving refunds to co.'s
like GE) and for the love of god and all that is
holy get a real universal health care plan going.
So poor ppl w/cancer get the same tx as one of the
Koch brothers would/did get!

I have my own thoughts about hospitals...I'm pretty sure many of them can easily accommodate an uninsured patient in a maternity ward. Our local hospital is one of the most expensive in the nation, but people don't think about that when they need hospitalization and their insurance covers it. Our hospital puts out in bulk mail a monthly, full color magazine about how wonderful they are to every resident in this county. Its "fundraising" events are always front page news, and they sponsor so many community service activities one wonders how they find time for any patient care.
I know a doctor who won't even contract with this hospital, and even suggests his patients choose another because of the cost.

I'm sure he doesn't pay into unemployment or workers comp. Many 'legitimate' companies do not. It "costs money" is their usual complaint. Many people don't find out until they get hurt that they weren't actually covered at all.

This is why the GOP (The Corporate Party) wants to eliminate all the perks that most Americans have enjoyed for the 60+ years. Those benefits cost money and cut into the profits of our most important citizens- our corporations. Hyperbolic but, true. They would like us all to be those Mexicans, fearing for our jobs, hoping we don't get killed on the job, not expecting anything but survival...

Oh- and we're supposed to see it as "patriotic" too!

They just passed the anti-abortion law yesterday and by all accounts it's unconstitutional for them to vote on that. They need to work on the economy first.

The goal is to reverse Roe vs Wade.

And I agree by the many posts I have read of yours we are alot alike.

Do you really want the IRS controlling your healthcare? How are you going to grow your business if the minimum wage is set at $20 an hour. We already have the highest corporate tax in the world. Do you know who pays that tax? You do every time you buy an American made product.

Do you know what would happen if Roe was overturned? It would go to each state to decide as it was meant to all along. California would have it and Utah maybe not. You didn't hear much on the news about the doctor who was found guilty of murder in three babies he was trying to abort but were born alive. We are missing about 50 million in population due to abortions

There is no way any increase in minimum wage will get passed over the next 3 years - not with the existing governmental outlay we currently have. It's still more economical to pull unemployment than it is to work a 40-hour a week minimum paying job.

That...is...sad.

Every person (who gets SSI or SS) says
their Medicare works great.
Why can't we use the same type of program
for everyone. Countries like Canada and Australia
do it w/o strain on the countries finances.

Minim wage has to keep up w/inflation.
How is a person who makes $7.50 an hr supposed
to pay bills and buy groceries? Have you been
to the store lately?
It's outrageous. Esp if you want to buy healthy
food.

And as far as the "corporate tax" goes those
damn corps manage to get out of paying.

Literally GE AND Exxon both got tax rebates.
Rebates for gods sake. Exxon brought in millions
in the first quarter......and they got a Rebate!

There is something really wrong with that.

I did hear that Denny and it was horrible but thats not the norm.
I'm Prp- Choice you know that but for me and most of us that are it means It's available, safe and RARE!!

The gov. has no business telling a woman what she can do with her body.

Who would feed those 50 million Denny? The taxpayers because the women who wanted them aborted would just turn themover to the state.

My great grandma was Cherokee and my husbands
grandmother was Crow.

We were told our kids could get grants for
school b/c they had enough Native American blood
but we wouldn't accept it.

I feel like it would be "cheating" b/c we are
all as pale as milk. lol
There are many others w/ full Native American
blood that those grants were made for.

clinics in WV came under fire.

It's a shame. A damn shame.
