Karma is more of an appropriate way to live your life. After considering a long explanation for my answer I came to the conclusion it would be easier to just say yes, I believe in karma.

A man's mind may be likened to a garden, which may be intelligently cultivated or allowed to run wild; but whether cultivated or neglected, it must, and will, bring forth. If no useful seeds are put into it, then an abundance of useless weed seeds will fall therein, and will continue to produce their kind.

I read through all of this before I chose this one first, to reply.
I am in complete agreement with you and couldn't have said it better myself, with so few words.
Thank You

Is there such a thing as a completely innocent person, try children, try newborns.. tons of hideous things happen to them,...
If you talk Karma then talk Dharma as well. Everyone focuses on Karma, but would it not be better to focus a on positive driving force like Dharma.
As for Karma... eventually my 98 yo grandma said, "everything, everything, you pay for everything" even things you forgot...
Forest Gump forgot that although people are like a box of chocolates, some boxes have the filling info on it.. guess he wouldn't read it... also some have expensive wrapping with little cute sayings... but you may not like what it tastes like... but "I'd keep the wrapper."
I think this is a brilliant response.

yes, I believe bad things happen to bad people, they just don't know it's happening to them because of thier bad behavior.
This is a good answer, however it does leave out what happens to good people.

I see the earlier comments and I don't believe in instant karma, but it is satisfying to see a complete ass get what they deserve while you watch.
There was a man that threatened to hurt us (whole family) I read recently he fell and was crushed under a boom truck, yet lived, his recovery was long and painful. In the paper he said he had wondered what he had done to deserve it. I just smiled.
Tragic story, but again it leaves out the bad that happens to the innocent.

I don't know if it's Karma or not......but I agree with the old saying "what goes around, comes around".
If one presents themselves in a good light, 9 times out of 10 that person will end up happy.....and it is by the grace of their own goodness.
This was a brilliant answer and I really agree with it full heartedly.

As the late John Wayne once said: "Life is tough, and it's even tougher on stupid people."
Bad things can happen to anyone at any time. Watching it happen to bad people seems to justify Karma. You want to believe that fate gave them exactly what they deserved. Sometimes there seems that there isn't any other explanation for it. Many times you see how one's behavior, stupidity and/or lack of morals can lead to bad decisions in life. The result is disappointment, unhappiness and sorrow.
Another brilliant answer and I agree it is all about choices -- sometimes.

Karma will drift around to you even from a former life time. It will follow you, smacking you upside the head until you get it. Don't. Do. That. Again.
Yes, bad things happen to good people, but we don't know what bad things they did in a former life. My favorite though, is instant Karma. I get a real chuckle out of that.
Oh. And don't anyone reply telling me blah blah about reincarnation. It's my opinion. You have yours and I'm leaving you alone about it. Karma
