WASHINGTON -- The sunny, confident President Barack Obama who was the master of all that he surveyed at the White House Correspondents' Dinner last Saturday night was nowhere in sight at the podium in the White House press room Tuesday morning. In his place was a glum character, whose gloomy demeanor matched the lack of legislative motion he was discussing -- and the many obstacles (from Republicans to Russians) he complained were in his way.

After listening to a recitation of his political predicament, the president said,“If you put it that way, maybe I should just pack up and go home.” It was a joke, of course, but no one laughed and, judging from his attitude, it almost seemed as though he wished he could.

I'll concede the fact it's been a *tough-go* for him, but how much of it has been thorough by his inexperience in politics and understanding history?
Has (major decisions been made by him)?:or: those he's surrounded himself with?((That's a question within a question)) Is he just the 'host' of the party [the democratic party that is]:or: the President? Does he act like any president you've ever known? Does he lead from the rear? IOW; is he just pulling "IT" out of his ~behind~?
Because to 'me' that's what it smells like!

this is very very important... I had a TS2... now what ever US let out , remember that there are things that we don't know and there isn't any reason for us to know ... we don't make decisions ...

America likes conspiracies ....

EXAMPLE........ Conspiracies.net -$20 Dollar Bill plus 911U.S.
$20 Dollar Bill Contains hidden pictures of the World Trade Center

not a conspiracy ...but a deterrent to a forger

So...44% of Republicans think an ARMED REBELLION might be necessary in the next few years. So if you say most Republicans are f*cking nuts, you'd only be off by 7%.

Well gas was $180 when Obama took office and the average income was about $5,000 higher than it is today. Health insurance was about $2500 cheaper so no we are not better off

Nice try Charlie...

When Obama entered office in January 2009, gas cost $1.81 a gallon. Now it’s nearly $2 a gallon higher, an increase of 95%. That sounds bad, but the main reason gas had become so cheap at the start of the Obama Administration was that he was took office during the heart of the worst global recession since the Great Depression. Recession depress economic demand, and when demand is depressed, fewer people drive — which in turns leads the price of gas to fall like any other commodity would when demand falls. As the economy recovered and economic activity picked up — both in the U.S. and elsewhere — the price of gas rose as well.

Average national health insurance average

2012 -$10,475 (+6%)

2011 -$9,792 (+7%)

2010 -$9,111 (+6%)

2009 -$8,527 (+5%)

2008 -$8,044 (+6%)

2007 -$7,586 (+5%)

2006 -$7,206 (+7.5%)

2005 -$6,677

Sorry Charlie...even under Bushcare, healthcare costs went up - it always goes up.

Unemployment down, stocks UP, unprecedented new housing starts, the deficit reducing along with a plan to get it back to 4 trillion, or as the Republicans like to say, "effing Obama".
ahem unemployment went down because benefits stopped for many , housing , because of the severe storms we have had... and health is because the rising costs , now it isn't a perk of work any more as well as it shouldn't , heal thyself .. pay for your own

And even then, only if you are a hardship case. If you are a veteran and make more than the minimum, you do actually have to pay.
