Cheers FRanko - daft really for we never met, but I did count her as a friend.
not unusual for TOPix really ... there are quite a few good connections I see in Topix even though people have not met. I'm had ongoing PM discusions for a year or more with about a dozen folk that I may never meet just because of the distances.

I have met some folks on threads from Columbus, Ohio. Really neat.
Years ago there was a web site that was CLEAN and people chatted and you could see each other. Had beverages with some of them.

I presume that was not Topix? Actually as recent as 2008 TOPIX was still pretty good, but that was the year when things started to real9071ly get out of control.

"A LETTER TO SANTA "

****

'DEAR SANTA..

Can you bring me a doll for Christmas

who has >

eyes of China Blue:

A pretty face:

And a dress made of lace:

One who smiles like REAL babes do:

AND
Santa, will you see that she has long blond hair
that I can do myself

With a tiny little brush and comb set
I keep on a separate shelf..

OH!

here's another thing Santa,
Make sure she can say 'MAMA'

Remember..
a doll's house you brought me once ?-
Well - that can be her home.

A small little Teddy lives there already
See! she won't feel alone.

I want my dolly to have shiny shoes
an' ankle socks of white

A brushed-silk gown in pale rose pink
That she can wear at night..

SO

Santa , I'll be waiting at Christmas!!

PLEASE do what you can..!

BUT
If you think a poor child needs her more..
Then
I will understand -

And I'll PROMISE not to be greedy or sad..

No matter WHAT you do

I'll just think of ALL the other times
Santa..

when you made my dreams come true:'

Hello Flower...I HAVE missed you...I was on the verge of coming
looking for you, lol..I know the feeling of not going out, we
did go out yesterday but it was a first time in ages, and then,
we had to, anyway, hope you got all you needed and got back
safely. Just fed all the pets so they are all contented, and have
chicken and leek bake in the oven, just have to cook the pasta.
Speak soon...
Much Love as Always....El <3..
Good morning, Lady El ... it was a "have to" get out ... zero co-pay to get out of the doctors and $175.25 to get out of the pharmacy ... never made it to the grocery store ... but after my domestic help finished cleaning and such she and her boyfriend dragged me out to Parrain's Louisiana Kitchen down the road about 3 miles I had the jumbo grilled shrimp ... mananged to get 3 of them down and could actually taste them ... they were fantastic ... what a treat and I almost feel human today ... not 100% to go to the gym yet but probably tomorrow maybe? Maybe the next day ... we shall see ... anyway, enough of that talk ... How are you and P ... how's the kittens ... My pups are good!...

Oh, the librarian called yesterday and on the way home from the docs I stopped by and got the brand new Janet Evanovich book of the Stephanie Plum series named Notorious Nineteen ... it's the 19th book in her series ... I've started reading it already and looks like the girl is up to her old antics ... should be a good read ...

So glad to see everyone here having a good time and wishing everyone here a great day and you to! Love is all around! FC <3 ...

Have met up with a poster for a beer the last tow summers when he's been down on holiday. Turned out to be just as nice in person as he was on here.
