Hey there Boomer and Grace! Now that the night is almost over (for Midwestern US) there was lots of advertising and a big push for 'Giving Tuesday'. As the name implies folks were encouraged to give back and donate time and funds.

Touche! G'Morning Franko.
Hey, did you hear that the new Governor of the Bank of England
is Canadian. Football teams owned by Americans and now this.
Whatever happened to the Empire...lol.
I was very surprised when I heard that ... I truly thought the brits would never put a foreigner in such a positoin.

But this man has proven himself very good at what he does, the Canadian market seems to have withstood this major recession better than most countries ... so I hope he can help the UK and possibly the EUropean market as well through his influence.

I am a firm believer in choosing the 'right candidate for
the job', and it appears that is the case here.
Also, if I am not mistaken, one of the top positions in the
Police Force has been given to a high-ranking officer from
New York. Tony would be more knowledgeable I am sure.

Good Morning ALL....

Welp...would you believe it has actually stopped
raining. Still on flood alert but we have been
lucky, one more inch of rain and our house would
have been flooded from the stream at the back of
the property, it was an inch from the top of the bank. As it is, the sun is poking through the clouds, turning nthe snow on the top of the mountain pink....

Hope everybody is in the pink today...

Morning Everyone..
deep regards to ALL here.

Dern this 'getting older' thingy is really
playing games with me!

I always have been blessed with a bright alert mind,
but recently, I notice a few of the littler
bulbs are beginning to flicker a bit lately(:

Have all today marked out, busy..
my relative [I spoke of recently]
arrives tomorrow - & thankfully, all sorted re
hosp!

Separate to that...

Bought a SPECIALLY selected card to
send on the anniversary of a year old tragedy
in a friend's life..

Spent ages days ago choosing the right one.
When I went to write it now
NO SIGN of it anywhere!

Must go out and buy another!
Sigh!

Anyway good greetings to ALL here,
as always.

Flower....you made me laugh so much with your wonderful newsy
post...I can see you sitting there in your recliner supervising
the match...haha...there is a player plays for Liverpool, I
love him, called Jamie Carragher, they call him The Lieutenant
as he is always shouting orders to the rest of the team...here is a silly little vid I found dedicatged to him
http://thekop.liverpoolfc.com/_Jamie-Song/vid...
I support Liverpool as well as Manchester, considering I lived in Liverpool as a teen.
Excellent thinking to pick up two pumpkin pies from Marie Callender's...why go to all the bother...you be careful now on 183 d'ya hear me?!
Off to see Skyfall tomorrow afternoon, it's an hour's run to the multi complex cinema from here so will combine with lunch out and pick up Barti's repeat prescription on the way back and a few bits and bobs from the store.
Happy Thanksgiving my friend.
Much Love, <3 xoxox
LOL ... pretty funny video, Lady El ... Good afternoon BTW ... it was a good Thanksgiving ... can't believe I haven't been here in a week ... I've been around the block here and there but just touch and go ... Really not much to report on, not much happening ...have an appointment today and then some grocery shopping ... first time I've been out in 6 days ... yep, time to get out only on account that I HAVE to!... Wishing you the best of days and knowing that better days are ahead of us all ... Luvya big, FC <3 ...
