The Republicans claim to "want less government" interference in private lives; however, they have no problem using the government to impose their moral beliefs to enact restrictions on who can marry, who can serve in the military and whether women can decide for themselves whether to have a family. I call that utter hypocrisy. You can't say you want less government and then use government legislation to restrict personal freedoms.

I don't have much of a need to "get into it" in the kitchen... especially just to "back and forth" about ideology and opinions which are certainly subjective and biased.

BUT... because we are hob-nobbing with non-Americans here, I cannot and will not allow false information regarding US news and events to pass without refuting it; as I have done in past. And I won't pretend to "speak" for all Americans. The country is just too diverse to try to get away with that.

The American networks are carrying soccer quite more frequently anymore from here, U.K, an Europe -- men or women. Our FOX network have been showing English Premier matches. Just yesterday afternoon in US there was one. It could have been Liverpool and Manchester??

From what I have read of the state of things around the world, I doubt the UK politicians are any worse then most of the other countries of the world. It seems like finding an honest person to get into politics is like asking for money to grow on trees ......

They called the US corporate office Speedy CarX because the Speedy name was used on the east coast YS and CarX was on the shops in the Midwest. There were a couple in France and Germany and they tried to franchise in Hong Kong.
