I downloaded CCleaner via the link and it has done the trick so a big thanks from me.
Interestingly, to date I have downloaded the application to my laptop only, I have just tried to access here via my PC which runs Windows 8, only to have the original probs in getting on. I am hoping once I download CCleaner
it will solve that problem.
Thanks to SLACK and to TALLY for their respective help.

Grace I have been to many car boot sales in England but they are so different than garage sales here. The things I see in car boot sales are mostly so worn out while this is such a rich country you find things that are just like new. People just want to make more room to buy things they don't need. My last best buy was 2 western fast draw holsters and a shoulder holster that had never been used. They sell for about $100 each. I bought 3 for $50. I will take them to the next gun show and more that triple my money :) What a great country. It has turned hot but as soon as it is cooler I will have a garage sale and clean out my garage! I love buying the expensive purses. They are so easy to sell but you have to watch for fakes. I bought the best shooting chair for $5. It is for sitting in a blind. It has a back and a swivel base his a bar coming up for a rifle support. I can't wait till hunting season comes to try it out. The main reason for going to garage sales is meeting people and passing out my business cards and getting listings. My cards offer a free Ipad as a closing gift and no one throws them away :)

Ha Ha! That's a different take on the old saying Denny. How true it is.
I was going to mention to you that I might go to a car boot sale on
Sunday, but read what you say to Grace, you are quite right in fact,
it's a load of rubbish, the only thing I find worth looking at are books,
and I have far too many anyway, the car boot sale is held in a field
on Anglesey and it's a lovely place to visit,(not the field but the venue)
it is a caravan park called Plas Coch and there is a lovely old pub,
loads of wildlife to be seen like Peacocks and little ducklings, I love
going there although haven't been in ages.
We do have a form of car boot called Antiques Roadshow which is televised
and held in a different town each week.....the antiques people bring along to
be valued are amazing, but one time a fellow took a painting and the cops
swooped as he had stolen it, haha

INFO.... before we condemn the state of Israel
lets read and ask

They’re putting their own people in the line of fire — and doing it by the book.

The Israeli military said it has captured a Hamas manual on urban warfare — called “Introduction to the City War”— that extols the benefits of civilian deaths and openly admits that Israel tries to avoid them.

The Israel Defense Forces also said the manual — whose cover shows images of militants wielding rocket-propelled grenades and automatic weapons — crows about the propaganda value of the deaths of innocents.

“The destruction of civilian homes: This increases the hatred of the citizens toward the attackers and increases their gathering around [to support] the city defenders,” the manual said, according to the IDF.

The manual, which came from the Shuja’iya Brigade of Hamas’ military wing, also explained how heavily populated urban areas — called “pockets of resistance”— make operations for the IDF difficult because Israeli soldiers try not to harm civilians.

“The soldiers and [IDF] commanders must limit their use of weapons and tactics that lead to the harm and unnecessary loss of people and [destruction of] civilian facilities,” the manual said, according to the IDF.
Modal Trigger

The Israeli Defense Forces claims it found Hamas’ urban warfare manual.

“It is difficult for them to get the most use out of their firearms, especially of supporting fire [e.g. artillery].”

Israel has repeatedly charged during the nearly monthlong conflict in Gaza that Hamas exploits civilians as human shields — a claim apparently borne out by the seized manual.

We do come from such different cultures :) I feel much safer when I am out knowing that many good citizens are legally armed. When you go to the gun range you meet so many nice people. Shooting isn't a cheap hobby! Now I don't care for large magazine semi auto rifles. I am all about precision but my likes have nothing to do with what other people are fans of. I also shoot black powder muzzle loaders :)

I guess the difference is you don't find rich people loading up the car and going out to sell things. Hear you just open the garage and set out things on the drive. You would not believe it when you see 15 cars parked at a garage sale. You have to get out early because the good things go so quick

Israel uses Iron Dome and shelter to protect it's people while Hamas uses it people to protect it's arms. Hamas digs tunnels to attack Israel but where are the shelters dug to protect civilians

There's a real difference in how Europeans and Americans see all this...
and how it is portrayed.

War is war there is wrong on both sides.. But there IS imbalance here..

Israeli goods are being boycotted in stores & companies over here.
a senior British Government figure resigned yesterday because of Israel's
Bombardment...and BRITAIN'S relative silence on the matter.

We (the Irish have been called cowards on our neutral stance on all this)
and I agree!

You cannot stand back and see such horror taking place
And say ZERO!
I might be a little frail voice blowing in the wind,
but it's my opinion, and it's why I'm
I'm posting this:

Netanyahu has advised Palestinians to return to their homes..
but their homes are no longer there, as their land has been pummelled.

An excellent post and one with I agree wholeheartedly.

It is to my shame that Britain is providing arms to Israel, whether
this is underconsideration is a diffent matter, we have aided them
in the war which is absolutely disproportionate.

KUDOS to you Grace for speaking out.

War is not supposed to be proportionate. If not for Israel missile defense system the would have had much higher death rate. Hamas has fired 3000 rockets. Hamas has about 50 tunnels dug to invade Israel but no shelters dug for their people. In WW2 in the Pacific we lost a small number of forces compared to Japan who lost 3 million troops and 1 million civilians . We were first attacked just as Israel was first attacked. What did England do when rockets rained do on London? They wiped out Dresden. Such is war

Thanks El..

No point in sitting watching the horror unfold every night on TV
and say 'O that's terrible'

Speak one's mind on the matter, as you say.

Those here who refused to .. any longer handle Israeli goods

- ordinary 9 to 5 shop assistants - put our Government to shame,
saying they took the stand because they felt the Government hadn't the backbone to do so!

Sometimes one has to take a stand..

whatever that stand might be...

but..
conscience always guides us.

You are insulting my intelligence.
What you neglected to say in your previous post was that GB was not prepared for war,
Germany were. We did not want war...'Peace in our time' mean anything to you?
Plus the fact this country was just getting back on it's feet with the loss of so many
men during WW1. The Government did not want to re-arm. Winston Churchill was
shouting out to re-arm for years because he could see what was happening in
Germany.
Back to the present situation.....as Sir Winston Churchill once said
'Better to jaw-jaw than war-war'.

always be true to ourselves and speak how we feel.
All credit to the shop assistants, I had not heard of
their actions until now.
Speaking of backbone.....our Prime Minister is presently
on vacation in the Algarve.....
