Buenas Dias Vee! This website keeps locking up with the message " Topix.net is not responding". It happens when the pop-ups occur. The pool is open today!

The 'older home' WHERE? On what do you base your observations? A visit
to Brighton (nothing wrong with Brighton, but please don't generalise) homes vary
in size in the UK...as I am sure they do in every country.
We don't care for braggarts in Britain Denny...and just to let you know, we also

You make it sound like Gulliver visiting the fucking little people.
Now I turned a blind eye to you knocking our sausages, lol, but lay off with Texas

Happeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee FRYday!!!!! Now you see me and now you dont. I am at the (guess where) L I B R A R Y. I got the computer back last SINday and cant get acesss to the internet. It tells me I need to download the driver, so I did and it tells me I have to put in the disc. So I did and it wont work. Then it is muttering something about the USB. I dont know what to do with it, I called MATT and I am so close to being sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo done with it. I mean, really. It might work for him, but it is not working for me. Tune in next time for the Val computer saga. ha ha ha ha ha ha, Murphy is 110 pounds now and just turned 6 months old. He has allergies and is on meds. Welcome to my world, huh?
VEE...sorry to hear you are still having probs with your pc...and yet more
sorry to hear that Murphy is having some probs of his own. Let us hope
it will be a short lived affair and the meds will cure it.
Two cats who had kennel cough...they are fine, the anti-biotics worked, and would
you believe, a wee amount of Manuka honey (recommended on a Veterinary site)
has helped a lot.
I swear by that stuff...not instead of, you understand, but as well as.

Please don't be miffed at Denny, he can't help it.
His "birds eye view" is different you see.
He stands six foot 4 inches in his stocking feet.
6 foot 6 with boots on.
He's just another Texas runt of the litter. ;-)

I love Denny, he is a stalwart of this Kitchen and we love having him
here, but on this occasion he just went OTT in his critisisms imo.
btw I have three grandsons myself at the risk of making myself appear
as Annie Oakley, the first born when I was 37, go figure, and all would
know better than to visit a country then voice their opinion to a native
of that country as to it's shortfalls.
Really nice to see you here incidentally, and appreciate your raison d'etre.
Enjoy the weekend....:)

Mighty fine accent you have there, lol. I do so love accents, mine is neutral thanks to
my aunt who was a fanatic about my speaking 'correctly'...consequently I stuck out
like a sore thumb in my humble neighbourhood. Luckily I can 'switch' to any accent
the occasion demands...it's a form of empathy with the person with whom I am speaking.
Told you I was weird! lol
Does your daughter have very much longer to wait Luke? It doesn't seem yesterday
that Grace's grandaughter made her appearance, already she is three months old.
Tempest fugit.
Of all things.....'The Dust Bowl' is on PBS at this moment in time...talk about coincidences.
Have a great weekend..:)

The best of greetings and luck
To DW and forthcoming event.

I was babysitting again today,
baby girl was no problem,
We 'chatted ' away for about 15 minutes
(In her own language:) she is a darling dolly..
3months old, as of yesterday..born on Feb 2nd..

SO true El.. Time DOES fly..

It's a BANK HOLIDAY weekend here too, everything laid back.

I sincerely hope the GERRY ADAMS issue solves itself
successfully and that this glitch in the works
will not damage the 'long fought for' and 'hard won'
PEACE PROCESS..

Happy weekend to everyone here..
