Good Morning El, and all here.
Yes sometimes very difficult to know another's
thoughts.
I remember (MANY (lol) years ago
when I was in the maternity hospital going
into labour with my 1st child..
and I was so green about it all back then,
there was a patient beside me, I was trying
to talk to her, as I was nervous, but found her
most unfriendly and reluctant to engage.
Soon after my child was born, she was one of the
first over to me to offer congrats..and explained
Then she explained how
she had had a stillborn child!!
and didn't want to open discussion when I arrived in,
Lest it would upset me!
Yes, we seldom know another's thoughts.
Happy Weeken.
Very thoughtful of that lady...and not something you would ever forget Grace.

It would be nice to think that she went on to raise a healthy family after that
tragic loss.

<quoted text>Good morning El and Grace and all my friends here.I just get tired of all the alarm about everything. If we don't do X then the sky will fall. There have been so many crisis. The population explosion ,the ice age was predicted in 1973, Global warming predicted there would be no ice in the Arctic now. The seas will rise and destroy New York. There has always been the same amount of water in the world. If the Arctic ice melted the seas wound not rise an inch. If you have a glass full of water and ice does the glass run over when the ice melts? Only ice on land melting would add to the level. It has been both colder and warmer but so what. What would happen in England if it was a little warmer? It used to be warmer in England and you grew grapes and produced a lot of wine
Can't argue with that Denny...

but I will say that England (and Wales) still produces wine, on a small scale, but because
of exise tax and the government's lack of help to the vineyard owners, it is cheaper
to hop over to France via the Channel tunnel and buy as much wine, duty free, as you
want.
Incidentally, English, and Welsh wine is quite nice, but steer clear of anything labelled
British and the grapes were imported.

GRACE....

I can truthfully say, whoever wins I will be happy. The four
finalists are AMAZING. And how about the Judges?!
Very entertaining.
Going to say, for myself, JAMIE just has the edge.
But then, love SALLY, love JERMAIN from Hackney,
and love CHRISTINA MARIE.....:)
Have thoroughly enjoyed it.

I love that thread about the dog appearing in court,
So much scope for funny answers...

Like ... I was thinking did the dog become excited when the judge
said

'The ball is in your court now'. Ha ha!

In time for Sunday lunch/dinner or dinner/supper, Kitchen-eers!(all depending on what side of the ocean, but also the customary label by your family/locality).

Lovely weekend this. Yard-work just around the corner. Buds aren't abundant yet ... late Spring compared to some.

Coming out tonight at long last ... 4th TV season of Game of Thrones. yay, since I've finished season 3 of the disc set. The 4th set will be available 9 or 10 months from now.

Best known actors, I should think, in this story are Charles Dance (important from the beginning), Diana Rigg (now prominent), and Sean Bean (central to first season, but character "demised").

Thanks for this Denny....I take it you're not a devotee of Al Gore. lol
Thing is, climate change has speeded up. Deforestation on the part
of man is one reason, and burning coal, gas and oil other reasons.
I can't argue with that!

I think there is evidence of climate change,
Experts believe since the mid 20th century on..
humans have been responsible for this and
how GREENHOUSE GASES affect the atmosphere.
Also, wasn't it over 30 years or so when they began to
worry about the ozone layer and how it was being affected
Also by mankind..
It is such a wide subject, and like cancer,
hard to know what causes certain harm,
Speaking of cancer El,
very impressive about your friend and her
'Just get on with it' policy!
I saw one episode of BREAKING BAD in the 3rd series
which made me laugh,
this is not giving any of the story away,
The episode was called THE FLY..
Look out for that one.
The whole thing continues to be thrilling.
Where are you now in it..

No argument with this, either

In Tennessee we are protected by the volume of hot air coming out of Al Gore's mouth. His bald head reflects the Gamma Rays to keep us Volunteers healthy from radiation.
