Eh?... oh I get it; an April Fool's prank post !!
----------
I'm glad you fought your way back.'Tis a stress to me when you're under the weather a bit, or ankle deep in it.
Aye, warmer temps and some Spring rains and pretty soon blooms will be bustin' out all over here too. Poppin' good time don't ya know?!
Thank you very much for what you wrote, yerGrace. But I ain't perfect. I make do with what I know of American English.
I am not the only one who gets those markings.
"'Pay no heed to the begrudges" ... I shan't.
Have a great early April day Grace!:)
Oddly enough,
I wasn't thinking of APRIL FOOLS at all when I wrote,
That I'm back again this year, despite the odds,
I really meant, every year is a bonus,
as one becomes older, and I have come to appreciate that very keenly
of late...

I saw the movie BLACK SWAN which I had recorded,
oddly enough I wasn't at all keen on it,
long drawn out and I couldn't see the point of it,
but there were others who enjoyed it.

Good we have variety.

'Twas a very quiet APRIL FOOL'S DAY here
and indeed on Topix!

Nite Nite, DW and all...

<quoted text>Now that my wife has retired I have her hooked on breaking bad. She fought me so hard that she wouldn't like it and didn't want to watch it but she loves it :) I go to Goats milk with Princess but she doesn't respond any more. I have been told she worked for topix but has been fired. Hard to know what is true :(
Good for your wife, Denny,
I dare say that will keep her occupied for a time:)

So glad you both are all set for England again,
You seem to like it there A LOT.

That reminds me of the joke about the two Irish guys
staggering home at 6am... after a big boozing session

one said to the other,

'Come on, hurry it up a bit,
and we'll be home in time to get up':)

Morning all.

"Please excuse Jennifer for missing school yesterday. We forgot to get the Sunday paper off the porch, and when we found it Monday, we thought it was Sunday"

Overcast here today, am off to the Island today (shops) so just hope the sun breaks through..
regardless we will be sitting on the beach with a sarni and a drink....who was it said 'Mad

<quoted text>I am so ready to be back in England. I really thought we would never be back. Going to stay for 2 weeks. Krypt gave me his rugby jersey last time so I got him a Cowboys football jersey. My wife is sure enjoying retirement but she is working me to death :)
'Morning Denny....
it was beautiful yesterday but much cooler today...I do hope you get good weather
during your fortnight over in the UK. Just think...a whole two weeks of leisure....
can't be bad! Off to the shops on Anglesey today...a change of scene for me.

Yes indeedy. Rain's comin' though.
Saturday was not so nice; however, it was the date to treat my youngest to lunch as we arranged. She appreciated the "pick-me-up" on a couple of levels.
So, out and about driving was I and heard about this chap on the radio. Lo and behold, a similar story appears on Yahoo! home page.
Meet the tallest basketball player in the world, an Englishman.

G'morning {{{Cuz Luke}}}.......streuth, we live and learn...so that is where Paul Sturgess got to?!
Good for him, a second opportunity to shine as he did in English football, absolutely the
perfect niche for him. Thanks Cuz...

Past Sunday in Spring also meant the start of the third season of Call the Midwife and the second of Mr. Selfridge for PBS entertainment.
Curiosity overtakes: who on Call the Midwife sounds most like you? lol
That was so funny you should ask as it was only recently I was told that listening to
Jenny Agutter, it could be me speaking. It sounds a bit presumptious of me to say
I agree, but I made a point of listening to her and sho' nuff.....

Lovely weather here too ... apple and cherry blossom
out in profusion, and the clock has changed,
and I'm here again ... Yeah fought my way thru' all the rain and winter
storms and WON - I'm back! LoL!
Good Day DW,
I really must say I cannot understand the mindset of
the person who constantly busily gives you negative icons;
at this stage I think if you wrote that you won
The LOTTO and said you were going to give us all
here a big treat,
You'd STILL get mean icons-
I just don't get it.
You are a stylish writer .. most interesting (links)
and your own contributions & pieces beautifully delivered
by you,in perfect
English ...
Truly an asset to our KITCHEN.
Long may it last..
As my late and wonderful mother used say>
'Pay no heed to the begrudges':)
Good morning dear Grace. Don't worry about the icons. Some fools get pleasure writing on bathroom walls.:) Spring is such a lovely time of the year. I long for the downs and the simple pleasure of a good walk

Sitting here nursing a large Hot Chocolate....

a rain check on the beach idea, it's freezing out there!

It is certainly cold anyway, winds from the Sahara bringing
sand over in the air...sheesh. Shopping all done, I am
staying put.
