Good morning El. Another beautiful spring like day here in Dallas. Going out today for oysters on the half shell. 50 cents a piece on Sunday . Cant beat $6 a dozen. I am so looking forward to going to England. I really thought we would never go back again. Have a great Sunday

As I mentioned it ate several posts?
You all are hard to keep up with :).
Trust me I downplayed that story I posted ,have seen MUCH worse racial incidents, also, but that one was the closest to the "Ole Boy" picture so many have.
Yes also saw the story with cpr & the baby :) & is why everyone around
me since I was about 16 has known cpr, my daughter is certified now also :) Is the BIG question right, "What would YOU do" ?
Hope folks are well , & have a great Sunday> Rick
I often saw you around the
POETRY threads -

I like your writings, which strike me as > deep and meaningful.

Done in a humourous manner but covers a serious purpose.
Vinnie Jones for those who don't know, was once a professional
footballer, the team he played for (Wimbledon) were known as
"The Crazy Gang" because of their antics, and Vinnie Jones at
that time was a bit of a 'hard man'...now turned actor.
Glad you found it useful Grace.

You got that right Denny....so what it has been the wettest Winter since records
began, lol.
Today it is sunny one minute, raining the next, but overall very pleasant.
At the risk of sounding repetitive, some flood damage here, so sorting it during
the next few days.
Have a great day Darlin'...:)

My friends in Brighton have been been very wet with fields flooded for a long time. It has turned colder with highs in the 40s for the next 4 days then back to the 70's

Good mornin'/ tea-time Kitchen-eers!

Tea ... Earl Grey ... hot![please], being a might chilly here with overcast sky.

I don't have an Uncle Dave for inspiration, but this is a "Why didn't I think of this?!" story about 2 guys from Tally's neck o'the woods (saw these guys on the color TV this weekend).

http://gizmodo.com/how-the-jacket-zipper-was-...

"The Quickzip story starts in upstate New York, hundreds of miles from Under Armour's massive research and development center in Baltimore, Maryland. Engineer Scott Peters' Uncle Dave was living with myotonic dystrophy, a degenerative disease. Among the condition's many, variable consequences is a loss of muscular dexterity in the extremities, and for Peters' uncle, that meant zipping up a coat in the long, miserable winter near Buffalo, New York was a terrible burden."

Now, from the sublime to the ridiculous:

Ooooh! Now then. Dolly the cloned sheep. Let me think. Oh yes.
She was Finn-Dorset I believe. lol (according to Wiki that is)
Interestingly, I learnt that she was served by a Welsh Ram, a very
noble beast, and over three 'litters' produced six lambs.
Good Morning Deer Luke.
Thanks mightily for your expertise, Cuz El !:) There was another significance of the date. Because our country celebrated a National Holiday for all of our presidents on 17 February (this year's date), it didn't come to mind that 22 February is the birthday of our first one, George Washington.

Hope your flood damage is getting sorted swimmingly.:)

please note the presidents day was for Washington/Lincoln because one was the 12th/22nd so closing the for both dates was bad for the world of business
