Bit of a culture shock by moving to Wales, I was met with people who refused to
speak to me in English, I was attacked in a remote field walking my little Yorkshire
Terrier, an empty field, no cattle or sheep present, just me in my 40's and three
Nationalists....
I swear they woulda hung me if they could have got away with it.
Now when I explained to the lady who refused to speak to me in English, that my
ancestry was Irish, she replied (in English) then you are my cousin.
To which I replied,'no, I am the very same person I was five minutes ago, when
you took me at face value'.
Since those days I have learnt a lot, and have petitioned for those imprisoned for
attempting to revivie their language, albeit in a dramatic manner, and I can fully understand
their resentment.
Just wish I had stayed at home, lol
Spied this on the color TV this morn. Only found the video on-line (without watching). I hope it works for you. I couldn't find a text/transcript of it.

Good afternoon/evening, Kitchen-eers!

The 3rd season of Game of Thrones on DVD media was released to consumers this week [season 4 is due on HBO viewing soon]. In mid-week I nabbed the set. Methinks some of the weekend will be set aside for a couple of episodes or three.

Oh, and the Daytona 500 is this Sunday afternoon!

Boogity, boogity, boogity ...!!

here is a brief .....Traffic on Miami’s Dolphin Expressway came to a standstill when a woman got out of her car, holding a baby and screaming for help.

The baby wasn’t breathing when Pamela Rauseo sought help Thursday afternoon.

Motorists sprang into action to help revive Rauseo’s unconscious 5-month-old nephew Sebastian de la Cruz, who was already turning blue. He was born prematurely and has respiratory issues.

The Miami Herald reports Lucila Godoy arrived first. When Sweetwater police officer Amauris Bastidas arrived, he took over CPR, performing chest pumps while Rauseo breathed into the infant’s mouth.

The baby briefly started breathing, then stopped again. The trio worked frantically to get the baby to breath. Miami Fire Rescue arrived and took the baby to Holtz Children’s Hospital. He was in stable condition Thursday night.

thought it wise BEFORE I MIGHT BE ARRESTED lol!
Yeah, true about MRS BROWNE,
altho' she 'F's' and 'blinds' her way right through,
she can still make one die laughing:)
in this complicated sometimes brutal world.
Hello Grace...

I feel a bit more 'human' after visiting the salon....and we
had a nice day out yesterday...bit windy, but fresh, over
at Penrhyn Castle.

I love all those characters in MRS. BROWNE'S BOYS....
but especially Mrs Browne! It gets to the point you
don't notice (speaking for moi) the f'ing and blind'ing, lol.
All par for the course.

Half term here ...(: the roads have been SO quiet....but glad the
weather has bucked up for the visitors. Not to mention us lot!

There are more sheep here than people, lol. Show me any sheep and I can tell
you it's breed. And then they say you can't take the city out of the girl. LOL
How are you today? The good news is, it's warming up over here in time for your

LOL Grace! Did I mention I had been helping with the fencing then?..:)
No, we had a day out, I didn't mention it as if I do, it seems not to
materialise, it was a nice change of scene as it turned out.
Honestly, if it isn't sink holes, it's earthquakes, whatever next!...:)
Wonder if you watched Graham Norton. Miriam Margoles was
outrageous, but she had me in tucks...very funny lady.

"Well, Hello Dolly" !

It still is 22 Feb. on the west side of the Atlantic Ocean, so:

22 Feb. 1997 – Scientists at The Roslin Institute in Scotland announced the birth of a cloned sheep named Dolly, the first mammal to have been successfully cloned from an adult cell, seven months after the fact.[wikipedia]

Any idea what breed ?!

Good evening/morning Kitchen-eers.
