Howdy!
First post here, seemed to be enough good posts & nice people
(& folks with real probs.:)
To at least Hi so hello my name is Rick
Have lived all over the U.S. been in enough other countries to maybe say Hi also.

My profile says a lot actually & I don't have anything to hide ,I have mostly posted songs on here for quite awhile I think.
Hope everyone is safe & not needing for anything ,I am sucker for hardship so I can relate to A LOT things LIFE can throw at us. even though I talk to much :) I am a good listener too.
Have bad sleep problems also ,so I tend to post or read on the www in the a.m. hrs from central U.S. time. I am also a single Dad with a teenage daughter who is partially home schooled so I tend to read & study & grade & make assignments the also. I do EVERYTHING she does too :)
Enough rambling , hi . Rick

Hi Rick, and a very warm welcome to you, and thanks for joining us here
in the Kitchen. It's refreshing to hear something of your life style also,
thanks for sharing that.
I do feel as though you and I have come across each other before, could be
mistaken as I don't get around the threads much as I would like, but if I aksed
you if your daughter loved football...would I be correct?
No matter, really nice to see you here and I am sure you will soon fit in and be
part of our regular little group of friends.

Bet that little laddie will have the XFACTOR:)
Warming to Simon by the minute after seeing his reaction to his new son
in today's newspaper.

"I have been waiting for you all my life"..........and tears in his eyes.

Wishing them every happiness as a family.

'Afternoon Grace,

how did your dinner engagement go? oh, and thanks for the link, cute in it's
way, but I remember you saying a dog should be 'chastised' for 30 secs
only, but some were less drawn out than others and remarkably funny.
The third doggie amused me.

Good morning El. Now that my wife is going to retire we are going to take a trip to England. We have had to fly into Heathrow which we hate but we have found a way to fly into Gatwick which is close to our friends home. We have to have a layover in Florida but it is well worth it. Is is shown as a American Airline but it is done by BA.

Top of the Morning! to Y'all!
It is going to be actually warm today with sun.....and vodka. I'm taking my son to church. It's strange an agnostic guy goes to Catholic Church with his son but NOBODY teaches ethics anymore!

I should of been a doctor and taken The Hypocritical Oath.

Curiosity getting the better of me, I looked up MREs.....now that is useful info
to have in an emergency....I mean, good enough for the US Army an' all,
but, the cost is prohibitive...works out at $17.11 per pack..one meal I believe.
Checked out the contents, a lot of thought has gone into that, very impressed.

Very good indeed El, had a nice night with
good company, thanks for asking.

Glad you enjoyed the video,
yes that's what's said by the experts..that there's no point reprimanding a
dog hours after his done something wrong,
but somehow they DO know.
I remember Ali chewing a new ball to bits I only found it next day and said

'Ah for God's sake, look at this'
more talking to myself really,
but she cowered and ran into bed .. lol

Yes I also saw GRAHAM NORTON
[i recorded it]

VERY entertaining indeed, great quick wit among them..
I think Hugh is a real gent, nice to see him
'outside' Downton Abbey:)

Have a nice day all & sundry...

Good weather here today for a real change.
Ali benefited by a run in the dog park.

I just thought I'd share this, it impressed me.

In a recent radio interview over here with a famous author
the interviewer said

"Altho' you've had many rave reviews along the way,
you have your critics too, are you hurt by what they say?"

The author replied

"NO,
I don't live life like a cork bobbing up and down
in the ocean, at the whim of someone out
there who doesn't like me"
