Bet that little laddie will have the XFACTOR:)
Indeed Congrats to Simon and his wife on the birth of his first child.

Makes no sense his saying 'it won't change my life one bit'.........

Nice the baby is named for Simon's father, Eric.

LOL!
That's what I thought Grace....
I am sure underneath it all, he is proud
as can be.
One journalist in today's paper quoted him as
saying that, and made a very cutting remark,
but it's each to their own, and I have seen
a softer side to Simon myself lately.
Plus.....damn good judge!

I was just around the threads,
will be closing down now..
invited out to dinner tonight..
must get ready:)

but..

I agree with you - again -

Simon's bound to be delighted,
I could see the same in my son's eyes on
the very recent birth of his daughter..
he was simplty'taken away'

He said to me one night

'look. how perfect she is,
just like a little fairy'

it brought tears to my eyes.

Journalists will be journalists,
but..

not a good thing to be cutting on a day of
great joy for Simon beautiful son and mother.

Yes . GREAT 'fair' Xfactor judge'

I was ready to post this on UNUSUAL thread,
but might as well put it here too lol

It's amazing how ALL dogs understand .. when accused lol:)

What's happening in Texas, one minute freezing cold, now 80F....
so cold here but at least it's consistently cold, lol
Storms here so crossing fingers the power holds.....thousands without power around us.
El I've been watching this latest round of Stormageddon in the UK from here,

"...Gusts of over 100mph were recorded as Met Office "red warnings", the first of the winter, were issued. Sixteen severe flood warnings remain in place.

Power and transport networks have been badly hit, in what has been called an "almost unparalleled natural crisis".

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-26153889

You, Rod, Tony, Grace, and Steve have certainly been on my mind and in a few prayers! I sure hope your power has stayed on and you're still clear of this freaky repeated weather assault. We've had our woes here, too. We're a half inch away from the all time snowiest Winter in Indianapolis, with snow forecast again tonight. You have 'Stormageddon', we have 'Snowmageddon', lol.

And about agave nectar; sadly I'll not be purchasing it anymore though I do love it. I've read several pieces on it and this one sums it up nicely and cites good data,

http://nourishedkitchen.com/when-natural-food...
"Learn to cook real food!

When Natural Foods Aren't Natural: Agave Nectar"

Looks like good ole honey, though it's become expensive with the rarity of bees anymore, is still the healthiest choice.

I truly hope your power is on, your home intact and you and yours all safely and warmly indoors.

Just watched one of most entertaining Graham Norton chat shows
ever......Matt Damon, Billy Murray and Hugh Bonneville (Downton
Abbey) along with Paloma Faith.

The male guests were discussing their roles in Monuments Men
which opens in London this weekend. Trailers were shown.

Regardless of omissions, I MUST see this movie. All credit to
George Clooney in retrospect.

I don't mind admitting when I have gone OTT.
