<quoted text> Thank you for this, El! This was probably the best response that I've ever seen on offbeat! Now on a happy note: Things here have been really busy. We've settled into our new home and even though we downsized in anticipation for retirement,(in 10 years) I ended up purchasing all new furniture. Our other furniture is going to be moved up to our retirement home once it's finished being built.(4 more months) Until retirement, the cabin will be used for our vacations and as a half way point to meet up with the kids and grandbabies. Skiing and snowboarding is only 30 mi. away which is what my kids love most about it! Congratulations on your new grandbaby, Grace!
What a wonderful new start DD...I wish you every happiness in your new home, had a glance at your 'motor home' and I could quite cheerfully move into that! lol Glad your plan materialised, you deserve it.
<quoted text> I agree 100% El, The guy from that zoo was on radio - they introduced him as an animal expert(?) He remained calm and collected and stood by what had been done.. it was a firey discussion, I tell you - the listeners who rang in were furious, and asked if he had other complaints from Ireland, he casually admitted that he had complaints from ALL OVER the world! Imagine afterwards, feeding the remains to the lions IN FRONT OF CHILDREN and then some folks wonder why some children are cruel to animals, they haven't learned from their betters! I'd be interested in Denny's take on this.
I can well imagine the discussion which took place Grace, and good to know people care. It's appalling. You have probably seen this and acted upon it, but thought I would mention the petition on 'care2' to have the person ultimately responsible fired from his job. They are almost at the required amount of signatures this morning. Also to make sure it doesn't happen again.
good morning Lady EL ......continued cold here, even with the Olympic Games coverage .... very selective this time around here in the airing
Good Morning Sir Tally......and thanks for the adblock...voila, no ads, fantastic. I caught some of the opening ceremony, but that's all....very spectacular in spite of the glitch they keep pointing out...just wish our lot would stay on their feet, lol
<quoted text> Oh right....Bibb County then. I can't believe that this group were not 'aired' over here....they are up there with the best imo and I really enjoyed this one, it has everything. Thanks BT.
